The Trojans head to Cimpl Arena (1105 West 8th Street) in Yankton, S.D. Wednesday evening to take on instate rival Mount Marty (S.D.) (49 overall record) in a nonconference contest. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. DSU returns home Saturday afternoon for a matchup versus No. 2ranked Morningside (Iowa). The game is set for 4 p.m. at DSU Fieldhouse. Dakota State dropped their North Star conference opener at home versus Bellevue (Neb.) 6645 on Dec. 6. The Trojans could not get back in the winning column after falling to No. 8ranked Briar Cliff (Iowa) 9560 on Dec. 8. Mount Marty is coming off from a 7069 Great Plains Athletic Conference thriller at Concordia (Neb.) on Dec. 8, followed by a 7969 exhibition game defeat to NCAA Division II NebraskaKearney on Dec. 9. Morningside remained undefeated in conference play after a pair of victories last week (Midland, Neb. 9068 on Dec. 5 and Jamestown, N.D. 8779 on Dec. 8). Mount Marty and Morningside both won the first meeting with Dakota State earlier this season. Next Up: Dakota State travels to Kyle, S.D.
