4 P a g e H i l l C r e s t C o u n t r y C l u b N e w s l e t t e r J u n e 2 0 1 8 COUNTRY CLUB CHATTER ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR LIQUOR & BEER ARE PERMITTED ANYWHERE ON CLUB GROUNDS. THIS INCLUDES THE POOL! Bringing in outside food and beverage is against published club rules. Violations of this rule in terms of outside liquor endangers our liquor license. This also means you cannot keep beverages in the trunk of your car, go out to your car and refresh your glass then reenter the pool. All alcoholic beverages consumed on Hill Crest Country Club property MUST be served by employees of Hill Crest Country Club no exceptions. You must sign in Insurance regulations and club policy requires that you sign in at the pool s lifeguard desk upon arriving. Guest charges will be billed to your account. DO NOT PAY CASH. If you wish to pay via credit card for that day s guest charges, please see the Cabana Bar bartender. 2018 Membership Directories The 2018 Hill Crest Country Club membership directories are here and ready for pick up in the Business Office and Pro Shop. Stop by and pick up your copy on your next visit. A Reminder for New Members and Old Members alike~ we are a no cash club Cash transactions are not accepted at the bars, lifeguard station, or in the pro-shop for cart fees, greens fees or shop merchandise. Please consider the Crest Card, available in the Business Office as an alternative. Another Reminder: Please Sign Your Sales Slip The pool will be open soon and things back in full swing. You are encouraged to carefully review your monthly statements and to promptly contact the Business Office with any concerns or questions regarding the balance or individual transactions. Members are strongly urged to review and sign each sales chit for all transactions at the club. This is the best policy to avoid confusion. Members are permitted a 60-day window in which to dispute a charge after which all transactions will be final. Be Careful Out There From time to time, we all are in a hurry but please keep a watch out and your speed down when traveling through the Club parking lot. SLOW DOWN! Better safe than sorry! Mind Reserved Spaces Please respect the reserved handicapped spots for those who truly need the courtesy. We have had a couple of incidents recently were guests deserving of this courtesy were un-able to park because the spaces were occupied by non-handicapped members of the club. Providing Feedback While our staff aims to please when you re spending your recreational time at the Club, situations will arise when service may not meet your expectations. Article XIV of the By-Laws provides our complaint resolution method. All complaint facts should be relayed in writing to the General Manager or Committee Chairperson. Club members should not under any circumstance reprimand an individual Club employee. As the By-Laws guide complaints through the responsible committee, complaints addressed directly to an officer of the Club shall not receive attention.
