MAY 2018 Dear Members, It's finally Spring!! We had wild fluctuations in the weather during April - an EF3 tornado touched down just a few miles from our home, then it was 73 the following day and we had a hard frost the next night! But the official sign of spring, i.e. everyone posting foal pictures on Facebook and Instagram, is in full swing. The other sign of spring - thankfully held over the best weekend weather in April, is that our Isabel F. de Szinay show went off without a hitch! Riders, staff, and volunteers all had a great time. While the turnout was a little lower than we might have liked, the quieter atmosphere was greatly appreciated by riders enjoying their first outing of the season. We'll have the full wrap up of the show for you soon. In the meantime, keep posting those foal pictures on social media! Best, Penny VADA-CH BOARD MEMBERS UPCOMING EVENTS May 7 at 7 pm, Board meeting at Tip Top Restaurant, Pantops Details in following pages.
