GENERAL INFORMATION: Rules: - The Nordic Championship follows the FEI Rules for Vaulting. - The National Federations agreed to change some ordinary points. (These are written in this schedule) Licence: - All vaulters and longeursmust have national licenses, and these must be declared in the entry. (At the latest at DefiniteEntry) Rounds: - Every Team, Individual and/or Pas-de-Deux competes in 1 st round. The best 15 of each class competes in 2 nd round. Declaration of starters: - Declaration of starters must be announced in the Show Office at the latest 30 min. after end of Vet inspection. Draw for the order of starting: - Draw for the order of starting are preformed according to FEI Rules for Vaulting, Article 708. Music. - Must be on a CD and be handled in the Show Office at the latest at the same time as the declaration of starters. - 1 CD per Team, Individual, Pas-de-Deux Exception for Individual Vaulters at the same horse, going in at once. - Please write clearly which music for which program/test or for which vaulter. - Start numbers are available in Show Office against a deposit at 5 Euro / 50 SEK. Horses: - All horses must have received the vaccination according tofei Rules within a year. - All horses must stay in the transporter, until there passport are checked and the horses are accepted at theshowground. - All horses must wear a number (declared by the OC) from the time where they are out of the boxes. - There will be stable security all day/night. The horses must not leave the showground at night. - When the horse is mounted for riding, suitable footwear and protective headgear secured by three-point retentionharness is compulsory! 19. THE FEI CODE OF CONDUCT FOR THE WELFARE OF THE HORSE The Federation Equestrian International (FEI) expects all those involved in international equestrian sport to adhere to the FEI scode of Conduct and to acknowledge and accept that at all times the welfare of the horse must be paramount and must neverbe subordinated to competitive or commercial influences. A. At all stages during the preparation and training of competition horses, welfare must take precedence over all otherdemands. This includes good horse management, training methods, farriery and tack, and transportation. B. Horses and competitors must be fit, competent and in good health before they are allowed to compete. This encompassesmedication use, surgical procedures that threaten welfare or safety, pregnancy in mares and the misuse of aids. C. Events must not prejudice horse welfare. This involves paying careful attention to the competition areas, ground surfaces,weather conditions, stabling, site safety and fitness of the horse for onward travel after the event. D. Every effort must be made to ensure that horses receive proper attention after they have competed and that they aretreated humanely when their competition careers are over. This covers proper veterinary care, competition injuries,euthanasia and retirement. E.The FEI urges all involved with the sport to attain the highest levels of education in their areas of expertise.
