Are you interested in getting more active & involved in county 4-H program plans & activities? - Starting September 30th you can attend the monthly McLennan County 4-H Council meetings. All 4-H youth members are invited to come be informed & have a voice in the plans made for the McLennan County 4-H program! Are you going to be a 4-H club officer for the 2013-2014 year? - There will be a club officer training August 1st 9am-12pm at the Extension office. It will be determined at the next Adult/ Volunteer Taskforce meeting held August 27 th what Monday out of the month we will meet- whether it s the 2 nd or 4 th or just last Monday of the month Council & the Adult/Volunteer Taskforce will meet at the same time & day every month Aug. through May. A Club Officer Training (for each 4-H club s officer leadership) & Social is planned for August 1 st, 2013 9:00AM- 12:00PM or possibly 1:00PM depending on whether we can swing lunch. Each McLennan County 4-H Club will want to send their officers to the training. This training is open to all club officers for the 2013-2014 4-H year. Those who attend Leadership Lab &/or the Club Officer Training will receive more information on running for council office following the camps & prior to elections!
