THE CANBERRA CENTRE FASHIONS ON THE FIELD MEMBERSHIP - JULY 2018 TO JUNE 2019 Classic Ladies and Classic Mens catagories are run on feature race days. Registrations for all competitors are strictly between 12 noon and 1:30pm at the stage. RULES Style and originality relating to a Classic interpretation; Appropriateness of outfit for the race day. For the ladies, the skirt is to be around knee length - mini s and maxi s are not race day appropriate; Attention to detail of accessories; No denim or moleskins however we do understand transseasonal trends and weather; A predominance of exposed skin is not classed as Classic Race wear; Ladies Classic Racewear hats or fascinators ARE ESSENTIAL TO MEET THE CRITERIA OF CLASSIC LADIES RACEWEAR; Classic Men s Racewear jacket and tie essential. You should consider a hat or lapel flower. Matching cufflinks, hanker-chief and tie are always beneficial. The official flower of the Melbourne Cup is a yellow rose and the Mercedes-Benz Canberra Black Opal Stakes day is the pink rose; Understanding and interpretation of current fashion and trans-seasonal trends; Grooming and Deportment; Become a member to receive the benefits of membership. Young, Full & Senior memberships available as well as 3 year options (buy 2 years get the 3rd free). Membership entitlements include free admission to all race days including Melbourne Cup and Black Opal Stakes day. No new memberships will be able to be purchased on Melbourne Cup Day itself. Financial members can purchase up to two additional day passes (conditions apply). Member (full) The annual subscription of $90 (30-59 years of age) entitles the Member to one card and a Members Guest card may be purchased for $100. A 3 year option*(conditions apply) is available to full members for $180 and a Guest card for $190. Senior Member People 60 years and over can join the Club as Senior Members for an annual subscription of $60 and can purchase a Guest card for $70. A 3 year option*(conditions apply) is available to Senior members for $120 and a Guest card for $130. Young Member People between the ages of 18 and 29 years can join the Club as Young Members for an annual subscription of $60 per year and a Member Guest card can be purchased for $70 (3 year membership is unavailable for Young Members).
