Bancroft s School e-bulletin Monday 1 October 2018 News and Notices We are excited to announce that the School Council is being relaunched this year as the School Congress. It will have a wider remit and will be the key means by which the pupil voice will be articulated in School. Elections, in which all members of the 5 th, L6 and U6 forms are eligible and encouraged to vote, are taking place via the VLE. After the elections, a shortlist of candidates will be drawn up who will then be interviewed. Calendar and Forthcoming Events On during break we are holding our annual cake sale as part of Macmillan Cancer Support s major fund raiser The World s Biggest Coffee Morning. This is always a popular event with a good deal of competition between the four houses. All contributions are very gratefully received but please remember, whether you are baking or buying goodies to be sold, that Bancroft s is a nut and seed free school. Music Scholars and Award Holders from the 3rds to the U6th are performing in a Concert on Monday 8 October. Refreshments will be served at 6pm; the concert starts at in the Great Hall.
