Satellite Clubs Energize have funding available to start a Satellite Club in every Secondary School in Shropshire. There are currently over 50 Satellite Clubs running in 30 schools across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin. The aim is to have a Satellite Club in every secondary school in Shropshire by the end of the 2015/16 academic year before the funding finishes. The funding usually covers incentives, coaching qualifications for students, coaching fees, facility costs and marketing. All that is expected of the school is to provide intelligence around the demand for a sport, host the club and market the club to students. For more information, please contact joe.lockley@energizestw.org.uk

Me & My Pupil Software Unique online software supporting the education sector to capture and interpret pupil views. Me and My provides: Insight across key demographic groups. Supporting evidence towards the Ofsted Inspection Framework. Real-time data enabling instant analysis.

Sport & Health Survey Informs about pupils participation in sport, physical activity and healthy lifestyles. Supports you to understand: Participation (curriculum, extra-curricular, community, competition, volunteering and leadership). Sporting preferences (latent demand). Perceptions and attitudes towards PE (satisfaction, enjoyment). Healthy lifestyles.

Me & My local information Energize have purchased the franchise for STW (12 months): Schools purchase a 12 month licence Special introductory 12 month licence fee would be: Primary School: 150 Secondary School: 500 However, Energize are looking at using this academic year to pilot Me & My and work with clusters of schools that are enthusiastic about gaining pupil insight. Cluster working gaining insight for an area and not just a school. Involvement reduces the cost significantly but those involved would be required to have students complete the Sport & Health Survey in a prescribed time frame.
