This is the last issue of the TTOS Canadian Flyer for the 2006-2007 year. I would to thank all of our advertisers for helping to make the Flyer possible. I would also like to thank Bill and Andrea Gamble of KQX Press for helping us get the Flyer Printed. Special thanks also to my wife Gail for her dedication to the club, and to the TTOS Canadian Flyer, without her we would not have made the jump to a colour publication. We, the Canadian Division have one of the best newsletters in the TTOS and without support and help of everyone mentioned, our publication would not be possible. Thank you to everyone. I want to remind everyone of this month s meeting, it will be the last meeting of the 2006-2007 year and it is also the meeting that we hold the incentive draw. For every meeting you have attended in the past year, you will receive a draw ticket. Mark has assured the executive that as always, he has a good selection of prizes. The only restriction is that you must be present to win. This coming meeting we will also be having our now World Famous BBQ. We are hoping for a nice sunny day. If you are sponsoring anyone to join our Division, now is the time to do so. June 30 th is the cutoff day for our membership contest. Remember, the person you sponsor must be a paid up member of the National TTOS with a TTOS membership number before he can become a member of the Canadian Division. CONTINUED on back page >>> Gail Ferrier won the TTOS gift certificate David door Cook, prize President at the May meeting. Ed Stephens took the photo and said it was time Gail s picture appeared in the newsletter. 2007 TTOS Canadian Division Meets All meetings take place at Charles Rummel Community Centre 3630 Lozells Ave Burnaby, BC Doors Open 12:00 Meeting 13:00 Door Prizes, Sale Tables, Lots of Toys, & a Great Auction! Jim said that he will be demonstrating how to make lead castings of people for your layout. We have all seen the prices that these figures command when Jim has sold them at our auction so this would be a great opportunity for all of us to learn. Jim will be supplying us with directions to his home and the times. Everyone is welcome. Mark Horne will have more information about when our latest car will be arriving and when it will be shipped. One last item, the CNR Open House will be the Sunday after the Labour Day weekend. September 9, 2007. As usual, I would like to see as many members of our Division helping to make this a good show. We all had a great time last year. The food was plentiful, inexpensive and not too bad. Bring your spouses and children. There are Speeder rides, Train rides and lots more, hope to see you all there. I hope to see as many of you as possible at our June meeting. Regards, David Cook, President THANK YOU TO ALL OUR ADVERTISERS & SPONSORS FOR THEIR CONTINUED SUPPORT OF THE TTOS CANADIAN DIVISION.
