Well done Dylan everyone at CRA is proud of your achievements. Delight for Scholars at Blackpool 4* IIt was a brilliant half term for three of the Table Tennis scholars who competed in Blackpool as Jodie, Dylan and Danielle put in excellent performances. The competition saw Jodie complete and amazing victory in the Junior Band 1 competition where she finished 1st beating a number of top players along the way. Dylan also won the banded competition in the boys event following another great individual display. It didnt stop there for the scholars as Danielle reached the final and finished runner up in the Junior Girls open event. Up next for some of the academy's scholars is the National Championships. Good luck all.

The conference provided high performing sports students from across the David Ross Education Trust access to a number of elite workshops aimed at supporting their future development. Students were provided with insights into the life of an elite athlete and workshops that covered nutrition, injury prevention and rehabilitation, strength and conditioning as well as peak performance workshops. The workshops and practical sessions were delivered by Olympic athletes Joe Roebuck and Jenny Meadows who were on hand throughout the duration of the conference to share expert advice and information. ISSUE 01 3 ALLSTARS February half term saw the U13 DRET Allstars back in action as they took on Boston United Centre of Excellence in a friendly held at CRA. HOUSE RESULTS Last term saw over 60 students in year 7 & 8 represent their house teams in the Rugby 7s and Hockey events. Throughout the competition students displayed excellent attitude and teamwork. two CRA students, Harvey and MaCauley made appearances for the trusts Allstars in a tough match, played against a team one year group up. Despite the difference in height and strength the boys matched Boston for ability in an entertaining game. Well done. House competitions return over the next few weeks as students compete in Table Tennis. LINCOLNSHIRE SCHOOLS Talented runner, Amy Crook qualified for the Regional round of the English Schools Cross Country event where she was selected to represent Lincolnshire. Amy went on to run for Kesteven in the county championships where she finished in the qualifying spots and secured a position for the Regional championships held in Northampton.
