General Info The Department of Library and Recreation Services Summer Camps offer youth a variety of activities and experiences to create memories that last a lifetime. Promoting cultural unity, providing recreational adventures, and developing social skills are what we do best! We provide youth with the knowledge, skills, and attitude of positive discipline and leadership. Participants must be registered prior to joining Summer Camps and/or the Summer Youth Recreation Program. Registration is not accepted on-site! To register, visit www.dalycity.org/iplay or visit our Administration Office located at 111 Lake Merced Boulevard during operating hours: Tuesday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm. AfterCare AfterCare is available for select camps and the Summer Youth Recreation Program (). Look for the AC* indicator in camp listings for camps offering AfterCare. Participants must be registered in eligible camps in order to register for AfterCare. AfterCare is optional. M - F 4:00-6:00p R: $25 /NR: $31 Please note: If participant(s) is not registered for AfterCare and utilizes this service, fees will be assessed for the week. Participants must be signed out and picked up no later than the program s end time. A late fee of $1 per minute, will be assessed. Summer Youth Recreation Program () Family Adventures & Special Events This weekly program provides positive and exciting social experiences through recreation for youth ages 6-14 years old. It will focus on incorporating the four bases of character development: Confidence, Integrity, Leadership, and Teamwork. Summer Information and Movie Night Friday, June 7 at 7:00pm Come meet the staff and get information from your favorite summer camp/program and the Library s Summer Reading Program! Stay for a FREE movie and popcorn! Each week of will include games, crafts, sports, and activities related to the theme of the week. Optional trips, events, and AfterCare will be available for an additional fee. For youth 11-14 years old, Explorers will be offered at Westlake and Gellert Park. Explorers will experience specialized games, activities, and field trips geared for their age.
