HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION This product is not classified as dangerous according to the Chemicals (Hazard Information and Packaging for Supply) Regulations 2002 4. FIRST AID MEASURES GENERAL: In all cases of doubt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical attention. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. INHALATION: Remove to fresh air, keep the patient warm and at rest. If breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration. Give nothing by mouth. If unconscious, place in the recovery position and seek medical advice. EYE CONTACT: Contact lenses should be removed. Irrigate copiously with clean, fresh water for at least 10 minutes, holding the eyelid apart. Seek medical advice. SKIN CONTACT: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water or use a proprietary cleaner. DO NOT use solvents or thinners. Page 1 of 5

INGESTION: If accidentally swallowed, obtain immediate medical attention. Keep at rest. DO NOT induce vomiting. 5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Recommended: Alcohol resistant foam, CO2 blanket, water spray/mist. Not to be used: High pressure inert gas (e.g. CO2), water jets. RECOMMENDATIONS: Fire will produce dense black smoke containing hazardous products of combustion (see Section 10). Exposure to decomposition products may be a hazard to health. Appropriate self-contained breathing apparatus may be required. Cool closed containers exposed to fire with water spray. Do not allow run-off from fire-fighting to enter drains or watercourses 6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Exclude sources of ignition and non-essential personnel. Refer to Sections 7 and 8 for safety measures. Contain and clean up spillage promptly with an electrically protected vacuum or wet sweeping and place in a closed container for disposal in accordance with waste regulations (see Section 13). Do not allow to enter drains or watercourses. If the product enters drains or sewers, immediately contact the local water company; if lakes, streams or rivers are contaminated contact the Environment Agency. 7. HANDLING & STORAGE People with known allergic responses or respiratory problems should only handle or be exposed to the product under medical advice. HANDLING For personal protection see Section 8. Prevent the formation of dust above explosive or occupational exposure limits. Keep the container closed tight and exclude sources of heat, sparks and open flame. Always store in containers made of the same material as supply container. Avoid inhalation of dust. Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in areas of storage and use. The product may discharge electrically. Use earthing leads when transferring between containers. Operators should wear antistatic footwear and clothing and flooring should be conductive. Good housekeeping and safe removal of waste will minimize the risk of fire hazards. The Manual Handling Operations Regulations may apply to the handling of containers of the product. STORAGE Check the label for precautions. Store between 5 and 25 degrees C in a dry well ventilated area away from sources of heat, ignition and direct sunlight. No smoking. Prevent unauthorized access. Opened containers should be properly resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Page 2 of 5

8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION People with known allergic reactions or respiratory problems should only handle or be exposed to the product under medical advice. ENGINEERING MEASURES: To reduce exposure ensure adequate ventilation, preferably by local exhaust. If insufficient to keep dust below OEL, suitable respiratory protective equipment should be worn. EXPOSURE LIMITS The product should be treated as a nuisance dust, with OEL; Inhalable dust 10mg/m3 (8hr TWA) Respirable dust 4mg/m3 (8hr TWA) PERSONAL PROTECTION All ppe, including rpe, used to control exposure to hazardous substances must be selected to comply with COSSH Regulations. Respiratory Protection: Suitable respiratory protective equipment should be worn when the product is sprayed, if the exposure cannot be controlled below the OEL by engineering controls. Hand Protection: Where skin exposure may occur, advice should be sought from glove suppliers on suitable types. Eye Protection: Eye protection (to EN 166/170) designed to protect against exposure to dusts should be worn when there is a likelihood of exposure. Skin Protection: Skin protection should conform with EN 340.Cotton/synthetic or cotton overalls are normally suitable. Care should be taken to ensure that irritation of the skin at neck and wrists through rubbing with powder is avoided. ALWAYS WASH BEFORE EATING, SMOKING OR USING A TOILET. 9. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION There are no data on the product itself. The product has been assessed according to CHIP and is classified for toxicological hazards accordingly. See Sections 3 and 15 for details of the hazard classification. Coating powders can cause localised skin irritation in folds of skin or in contact with tight clothing. 12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION There are no data on the product itself. The product has been assessed according to CHIP and is not classified as dangerous for the environment. The product should not be allowed to enter drains or watercourses or be deposited where it can affect ground or surface waters. The Air Pollution Control requirements of the Environmental Protection Act may apply to the use of the product. 13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS Do not discharge into drains or local environment. Dispose of waste, including contaminated containers, in accordance with local regulations to an authorised site. 14. TRANSPORT INFORMATION This product is not classified as dangerous for carriage. 15. REGULATORY INFORMATION The product is classed as not being dangerous in accordance with the Chemicals (Hazard Information and Packaging) Regulations and is labelled as follows: S38 In case of insufficient ventilation wear suitable respiratory equipment. S24/25 Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
