HAZARD IDENTIFICATION Overexposure Effects: Irritating to skin. Continued exposure to vapours will have a narcotic effect and drowsiness leading eventually to unconsciousness. 4. FIRST AID MEASURES (SYMPTOMS) Skin Contact: Will defat the skin and may cause irritation and redness after prolonged or repeated contact. Eye Contact: Irritation. Ingestion: Sickness and stomach cramps. Inhalation: Excessive quantities may cause headaches and drowsiness. Continued exposure will have a narcotic effect leading eventually to unconsciousness. 4. FIRST AID MEASURES (ACTIONS ) Eye Contact: Wash with luke warm water for at least ten minutes. If irritation persists seek medical attention. Skin Contact: Wash off with soap and water. Apply emolient cream. Inhalation: Move casualty to fresh air, restore or support breathing as necessary. Seek medical attention if difficulties persist. Ingestion: Rinse mouth out with water and seek medical attention if irritation persists. Do not induce vomiting. 5. FIREFIGHTING MEASURES General: Cans should be kept cool by using water spray. Extinguishing media: Carbon dioxide. Exposure hazards: In combustion emits toxic fumes. Vapour may travel considerable distance to source of ignition and flash back. Forms explosive air-vapour mixture. Protection of fire-fighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear protective clothing to prevent contact with skin and eyes. 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Packaging limits significant releases. Personal precautions: Eliminate all sources of ignition. Mark out the contaminated area with signs and prevent access to unauthorised personnel. Turn leaking containers leakside up to prevent the escape of liquid. Environmental precautions: Do not discharge into drains or rivers. Contain the spillage using bunding. Clean-up procedures: Absorb into dry earth or sand. Transfer to a closable, labelled salvage container for disposal by an appropriate method. Wash the spillage site with large amounts of water. Do not use equipment in clean-up procedure which may produce sparks. Minor spills may be allowed to evaporate. Page 2 of 5

7. HANDLING AND STORAGE Handling requirements: Ensure there is sufficient ventilation of the area. Avoid direct contact with the substance. Do not incinerate in the open even when empty. Do not spray on or near a naked flame or hot surfaces. Do not smoke, eat or drink whilst handling product. Prevent contact with eyes and skin. Use non-sparking tools. Storage conditions: Store in cool, well ventilated area. Keep away from sources of ignition. Keep container tightly closed. 8.
