The USDF Office will confirm receipt of an application and that the Regional Director has received a copy. March 13, 2019 --Regional Directors submit a cover letter citing recommendations to the USDF Office. Copies will go to Regional Championship Site Selection Working Group for review Report to go the RD immediately at the conclusion. Regional Championship Site Selection Committee to send recommendations to Eecutive Board. Eecutive Board to review and approve at Spring Board meeting. Final decision of the Eecutive Board communicated to affected parties by May 6, 2019. May 8, 2019 - Regional Championships for 2020 announced. Competitions that are selected to host Regional Championships in 2020 must agree to abide by any requirements necessary to facilitate the US Dressage Finals, including but not limited to immediate submission of results for all championship classes. Regional Championships may not be held after October 13th, 2020, due to the date of the US Dressage Finals. It is strongly encouraged to select an earlier date, if available, to allow more time for eligible competitors to make arrangements to attend the US Dressage Finals if they qualify. Note that each Great American/USDF Regional Dressage Championships is required to host the USDF Dressage Seat Medal Semi-Finals classes and USDF Adult Amateur Equitation Regional Final class. You are strongly encouraged to attach ehibits to this application, including diagrams of the facility and any other information that enhances your bid. All sections must be completed. Prior to submitting this form, applicant must read current USDF Regional Championships Program Rules which lists USEF rules and USDF requirements for organizers. Organizers must agree to abide by all USEF and USDF rules in effect at the time of the Championships. Note: Once an application has been submitted, no changes to facility, organizer (including licensee), manager or secretary may be made without prior notification and written consent of both USDF and the Regional Director. In addition, USDF and the Regional Director reserve the right to select an alternate host site and management if the facility, organizer (including licensee), manager or secretary named in the original host site application is changed without written permission from USDF and the Regional Director. If any position is tentative at the time of submission, it must be indicated on the application. Once these positions are assigned, written notice of proposed changes must be made to the Regional Director and the USDF office.

The NCDCTA Autumn Leaves Dressage Show at the Carolina Horse Park is applying for ONLY the 2018 BLM Championships. The NCDCTA Autumn Leaves Dressage Show will be held in conjunction with the Championships (if granted).we do not anticipate any restrictions or accommodations being necessary for the Autumn Leaves Dressage Show being held in conjunction with the Great American USDF Regional Championships in 2020. Management Both competition manager and secretary must be USEF Senior Active or Life Members. In addition, both the manager and secretary must have either a USDF Participating Membership (PM), or Group Membership (GM) at the time of application and at the time of the championships. Martie Healy Resumé: Martie owned, managed and ran Basingstoke Farms from 1992 2004 running 3 10 USEF/USEA Horse Trials, USEF/USDF Dressage Shows, USEF Combined Driving Events, schooling shows and clinics per year. The typical Horse Trials at Basingstoke Farms ran 280 horses at Beginner Novice through Advanced Intermediate. Martie was a USEF licensed course designer while she owned and managed Basingstoke Farms. She designed and built all the BN P courses and built the Intermediate courses. Working as Equestrian Secretarial Services, Martie was the secretary and assistant manager for the Northern Lights Dressage Shows in Lake Elmo, MN from 2005 2018 4 6 shows per year; each show typically runs 2 3 days with up to 100 competitors; Martie was the secretary and assistant manager for the Sporting Services Dressage Shows in North Carolina from 2004 2017 2 3 shows per year; each show typically running 150 200 competitors. Martie was the secretary and assistant manager for Dressage At Leington from 2004 through 2016, running approimately 450 competitors over 3 days annually, scheduling over 1300 rides. Martie is the manager for the NCDCTA Harvest Moon Dressage Show, which had 135 entries as of closing date in 2008 and 150 entries as of closing date in 2009. Martie was the manager of the 2010 GAIG/USDF Region 1 Dressage Championships, with 300 entries held over 4 days, with approimately 1000 rides. In 2011, the NCDCTA Harvest Moon Dressage Show hosted approimately 175 horses. Harvest Moon is the site of the NCDCTA Dressage Championships when it is not hosting a Regional Championship. Martie managed the 2012 GAIG/USDF Region 1 Dressage Championships and NCDCTA Harvest Moon Dressage Show in 2012 we ran approimately 350 entries with approimately 1200 rides scheduled. In 2013, Harvest Moon moved to the first weekend in October and hosted the 2013 NCDCTA Dressage Championships and a new show NCDCTA Autumn Leaves Dressage ran Oct. 31 Nov. 3 and hosted the 2013 CBLM Championships with approimately 230 entries. Harvest Moon again hosted the GIAGS in 2014 with 380 entries. Martie managed the 2016 Regionals in Williamston under the name Autumn Leaves and managed the 2017 Regionals in Williamston. In 2018, Martie managed the BLMs in Williamston and is set to manage the 2019 Regionals in Williamston. In 2017 and 2018, the NCDCTA Championships moved to the Carolina Horse Park with Autumn Leaves and in 2018 hosted approimately 220 horses utilizing 6 rings. Martie developed the first online entry system for dressage shows on her website: www.equestriansecretarialservices.com. This service is etremely well received by competitors. She has added Live Scoring (scores updated automatically every 220 seconds throughout the competition including sponsor banners and links on each page) and Score Teting a free service to competitors where their scores are teted to them as soon as they are entered into the network typically, competitors receive their scores before they get the saddle off their horse. In 2013, Martie added a mobile App to her line up of services the App allows quick and easy access to the Live Scoring and holds show results for a year. Score Teting now includes a link to the App so that the competitor not only gets their own score immediately but can also view their class with a single tap. For 2014, the online entry has been optimized for mobile devices. This has all been upgraded in 2016 to take advantage of newer technologies and has new upgrades in 2017 including a new gift certificate feature. In 2018, the program was upgraded to integrate with USEF's new API for entry services and received their highest certification ratings. We solicit local workers from the community these are all paid positions and all have eperience working horse shows at the Carolina Horse Park of all types and sizes. This procedure works well to integrate the show with the local community and assist the local economy

The official veterinarian must be a licensed veterinary school graduate, be in good standing in his/her state of practice, be familiar with the USEF Equine Drugs and Medications booklet, and have eperience in equine veterinary practice (see USEF GR1204.1). List Medical Personnel including license or certification (see USEF GR848): An EMT, licensed by the State of North Carolina is on duty and present on site during the entire competition. EMTs are provided by the Williamston Fire and Rescue and have all appropriate first-aid equipment and an all-terrain 4-wheel drive vehicle (Mule)._ Scoring: Scores must be available shortly after the conclusion of each Championship class. Scores should be communicated to the announcer preferably during the class, but must be done so immediately following the conclusion of the class. Level four requires that class results must be posted within one hour of the final ride in that class. Runners pick up score sheets from scribes and bring them to the scoring office 1-3 sheets How will scores sheets be collected? at at time. An adult driving a golf-cart (we use at least 2 for score running) or small vehicle brings tests in from the outdoor rings on a continual basis. yes Is electricity available to operate calculators with recorded tapes? Separate Scoring Office. heated and air-conditioned and has electricity and is networked to our Show Network, steps away from the Awards Island and is centrally located and easily accessed by runners. Scorers are also provided with a radio for instant communications if needed. 4 computers 2 for scoring and 1 for live scoring, 1 for scoring management. How many scorers will be provided to tabulate and check scores on championship tests? 2 It is strongly recommended that each Championship test be double-checked.

No other activities should be conducted at the time of the ceremony that might be intrusive to the ceremonies.
