2 x Senior seats to the 2019 ROK Cup International Finals 1 x Junior seat to the 2019 ROK Cup International Finals The confirmed first placed KartSport New Zealand Licenced competitor in the Vortex ROK DVS Junior class at this event and the first and second placed KartSport New Zealand Licenced competitors in the Vortex ROK DVS class at this event will be entitled to the following prize: Entry fee for the ROK Cup International Finals to be held in October 2019 at the South Garda Karting circuit, Lonato, Italy. Supply of complete kart (OTK brand) and Vortex engine, race tyres, free paddock space and tent. Hotel accommodation and lunch for the race days for the driver. Share of the Motul NZ International Travel Fund (Approx $350). Return airfare (Auckland-Milan) for the driver (Maximum value $2,500 incl GST). Provided with support from the KartSport/Lascom Motorsport/Dunlop International Travel Fund. These prizes are subject to the following conditions: Competitors must be racing on a KartSport New Zealand Competition Licence and be resident in NZ. Competitors must arrange appropriate Racing Licence and Racing Visa via KartSport New Zealand. Competitors must supply appropriate racing apparel which meets current CIK-FIA karting regulations (note Junior helmet requirements). Competitors and mechanics must arrange valid passports and travel Visas required for international travel to Italy. The respective mechanics must be over 18 years on 1-10-19 and receive KartSport New Zealand s written approval. The respective mechanics must be assigned as the respective guardians for the period of the trip/competition. KartSport New Zealand and Vortex reserve the right to withhold the prize or reallocate the prize should the initial recipient(s) lose his/her NZ Competition Licence after the 2019 CIK Trophy of NZ and before the 2019 ROK Cup International Final. Note: KartSport New Zealand Rule Q4.9 applies. ROK Cup International Finals prizes are awarded on a use it or lose it basis. If for some other reason the prize winner is unable to take up the prize, the prize may be offered to the next place getter (etc) subject to the conditions above and at KartSport New Zealand s sole discretion. 2

Holders of a CIK-FIA International Kart licence with a valid International Visa. International rating C-Junior, C-Restricted, A-Senior, B-Senior, C-Senior. Challenge Cup Classes: KartSport New Zealand Licence holders with either a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Sprint rating. Karting Australia Licence holders with a valid Trans Tasman visa. A or B Karting Australia Sprint rating only. Holders of a CIK-FIA International Kart licence with a valid International Visa. 5. Tyres: KZ2: DRY: Maximum of two sets to be collected at Dry Tyre Distribution. WET: One set only; supplied by competitor. Refer Rule L3.5 ALL OTHER CLASSES: DRY: One set only to be collected at Dry Tyre Distribution. WET: One set only; supplied by competitor. Refer Rule L3.5 6. Dry Tyre Distribution: For all classes only DRY tyres supplied at the event can be used during competition. All competitors are required to purchase a voucher (either a Full Set or a Cadet Set voucher as appropriate) from their usual outlet. DRY tyres will be distributed from 3pm 5pm on Friday by the Technical Officers. A class-by-class timetable will be published once late entries close. DRY tyres must be used for the class they are issued for. You must present your voucher to receive your tyres. No voucher = No tyres. NOTE: Competitors are to supply their own WET tyres which will be scanned or marked when they are first used in competition. 7. Engine Sealing: All competitors & crew are to note that the Bar-Coded Engine Sealing method will be used at this event. CIK Classes: competitors will be issued with two engine seals at Dry Tyre Distribution on Friday. Challenge Cup Classes: competitors will be issued with one engine seal at Dry Tyre Distribution on Friday. One extra seal will be available on request. It is the competitors responsibility to correctly fit these seals and to have the respective sealing nuts. Ref Rule L9. 8. Time Trials: Dry Tyre Qualifying: Karts must present to their respective Time Trial out-grids with their allocated unused (GREEN) dry tyres. Wet Tyre Qualifying: Karts must present to their respective first dry race out-grids with their a allocated unused (GREEN) dry tyres. 9. Official Notice Board: The Official Notice Board is situated beside the Out Grid gate. 10. Scrutineering and Gear Checking Confirmation of Entry and Gear Checking, and Random Scrutineering AS PER TIMETABLE. 11. Masters (40+ years) Will be recognized as per Rule Q4.8. 12. Transponders: must be fitted and operating for Official Practice and for all competition. 4
INFORMATION Drivers' Briefing: Will be conducted on Saturday (and Sunday if required) on the Out Grid, or other such place as may be notified. All competitors (and their parents/legal guardians if competitor is under 18 years old) must attend the briefing. Trailer Sites & Marquees: First in, first served, payment with entry. Pit sites are 6x6m or 6x4m. If your requirements extend outside this nominated space, then you will be required to book, and pay, for additional sites. Please indicate on your entry form which type of site you prefer. All access ways must be kept clear at all times. Please note these are not powered sites, so if you wish to run compressors etc. please bring your own generators. All reserved pits sites are reserved for owners. Parking of trailers and support vehicles is under the strict control of the Convenor. Trailers to be disconnected and vehicles parked on South side behind control tower. All marquee bookings must be made with the Convenor. Track Closure: As per Rule P3.13 the Speedworks Raceway track will be closed between the Monday and Thursday inclusive immediately prior to the event. However competitors will have access to Pit Sites for set up purposes only on Thursday 17 th January between 12 noon and 6pm. Security: Will be provided on Friday night 18 th January and Saturday night 19 th January. Prize-giving Prize-giving will be held on-site at the conclusion of racing on Sunday 20 th January. Canteen Facilities Breakfast is available from 7am Saturday and Sunday. Lunches, snacks and light refreshments are available during the day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
