The show dates above will be holding MIDARC (M), Equifest (EQ), Amateur Showing Society (AS) Royal London (RL) and Cricklands Qualifiers (C). This Show is affiliated to Equifest, taking place at the East of England Showground on the 13 th 17 th August 2014. The two highest exhibits not already qualified in each affiliated class will qualify. This Show is affiliated to MIDARC UK and runs qualifiers for the National Championships full details may be viewed at www.midarc.co.uk In classes 9, 11, 16, 24, 27, 30, 31, 43, 50, 51 1 st -3 rd qualify for the amateur showing society national championships. Competitors have 28 days to become a member to retain the qualification First, second and third placed horse/ponies not already qualified in eligible classes will qualify for the champion of Britain title classes to be held at the Royal London show in 2014. Each qualified horse/pony will receive a qualification card in the ring which will enable the owner to enter the Royal London Show, provided the owner and rider /handler are, or become registered with the international showing society within 28 days of the qualifying show. You can join as a south staffs member at anytime throughout the season. Becoming a member means you will be awarded points for each class you compete in. These points will accumulate over the season and there will be a champion and reserve champion of each class awarded at the awards evening. A minimum of 50% attendance at the shows must have been achieved by September for the points to count towards the awards evening. However points will not be backdated.

Due to south staffs reaching its 100 th show in 2014 we will be rewarding our members that attend all open shows. When competing at the September show, after 100% attendance you will be eligible to put your name in a box for a 100 cash prize!! RING 3 - WORKING HUNTER START 10.30AM 0AM The following classes are open to Riders of any age, except where stated Ponies in this ring should be shown in a snaffle or double bridle If numbers warrant, awards will be made separately to Horses & Ponies Ponies and Horses may shown in any suitable bit (no bitless bridles for ponies) CLASS 9 CLASS 10 BEST HORSE / PONY OF RIDING CLUB / PONY CLUB TYPE (M, A, RL) This class is open to Riders of any age, Horses or Ponies, Horses to be ridden by Riders 13yrs & over. Competitors may be asked to jump a short course of small jumps WORKING HUNTER 1 9 (M, RL) Riders on the Lead Rein will be allowed to compete in this class. Novice Riders may be assisted. CLASS 11 WORKING HUNTER 2 0 (M, A) Lunchbreak Approx 30 minutes CLASS 12 WORKING HUNTER 2 3 (M) CLASS 13 CLASS 14 WORKING HUNTER 2 6 (M, EQ) Equifest qualifiers will be awarded in this class to horses exceeding 133cm and not exceeding 143cm, with riders that have not attained their 25 th birthday before 1 st Jan in the current year. WORKING HUNTER 2 9 (M, EQ, RL) Equifest qualifiers will be awarded in this class to horses exceeding 143cm and not exceeding 153cm, with riders that have not attained their 25 th birthday before 1 st Jan in the current year.

CLASS 15 WORKING HUNTER 3 0-3 3 (M, EQ, RL) Equifest qualifiers will be awarded in this class to horses exceeding 148cm and not exceeding 158cm, with riders that have not attained their 25 th birthday before 1 st Jan in the current year. The first two placed from Classes 16 29 will then be judged for the In Hand Show Championships RING 5 - LEAD REIN & JUNIOR SHOWING START 10.00AM The following classes are open to Riders 16 Years & Under, except where stated Ponies in this ring should be shown in a snaffle or double bridle. Lead Rein Handlers should be Aged 16yrs & over CLASS 30. LEAD REIN TURNOUT (M, A) Open to Riders 8 Years & under on the Lead Rein, Ponies 12.2hh & under to be shown plaited and trimmed NB: Rosettes will be awarded separately to M&M if numbers warrant. CLASS 31. JUNIOR TURNOUT (M, A) Open to all Riders 16yrs & under, Ponies 14.2hh & under and to be shown plaited and trimmed NB: Rosettes will be awarded separately to M&M if numbers warrant. NOVICE HORSE/ PONY This class is open to all breeds & types that do not fall into riding horse or pony Category. Ponies/ Horse should be in a snaffle bridle. The first two placed from Classes 30 42 will then be judged for the Junior and Lead Rein Show Championship RING 6 - SENIOR RIDDEN SHOWING START 10.00AM Open to Horses or Ponies, Riders 17yrs & over, except where stated Please note class 42 in ring 5 is open to both novice horses and ponies CLASS 43 SENIOR BEST TURNOUT (M, A) This class is open to Horses, Ponies, Cobs, Traditionals, M&M etc. Riders may qualify for the following turnout championship classes M&M BTO, Senior BTO, Open BTO. CLASS 44 BEST SENIOR NOVICE RIDER (M) Open to Horses or Ponies, Riders 17yrs & over - Riders not to have won to won 3 x 1sts in any Best Rider Classes up to 1 st April 2014. Horses should be shown in a snaffle bridle. Riders in this Class cannot enter Class 45

This Class will be judged solely on the suitability of the horse / pony and the ridden show.
