MATCH REPORT: U11 BASKETBALL V BSAK Brighton U11 Boys and Girls teams travelled over to BSAK for some friendly matches as part of their preparation for the ADISSA tournament on the 3 rd June. In the girls match, the Brighton team dominated from start to finish and were clear winners, with plenty of baskets to celebrate in a 20-4 victory. Sara Gautier led the way with an energetic performance and some great shooting. In the boys game, Brighton started strongly and showed excellent shape defensively but seemed to forgot how to shoot! Simple passing errors kept losing possession and allowing BSAK to continue to score. Brighton regained composure at the basket and were soon back in the game. We finally moved into the lead, only for BSAK to steal the ball in the closing minutes and score 2 disappointing quick baskets to win the game 24-22 a thrilling game of Basketball! Lots of lessons learned for all concerned for the next matches at Raha on Tuesday 17 th May and lots of fun thanks to Mrs O Halleron for taking the girls team.
