Know your movement Enhance your performance through biomechanics with Q RINGS & 2INpower
Why Q RINGS? Q RINGS are oval chainrings designed to increase performance of cyclists by reducing the impact of dead spots in the pedal rotation. Q RINGS become larger around the strong zones and smaller around the weak zones. Therefore time spent in the strong zones is longer, while time spent in the weak zones is shorter. Everyone s pedaling style is different, so weak and strong zones vary by a quantity of degrees from person to person. The ability to adjust the position of chainring orientation to the crank via OCP (Optimum Chainring Position) is the key to fit each unique user s needs. Biomechanical benefits of Q RINGS Naturally smooth spin Q RINGS allow us take better advantage of the natural way we apply force during the pedal stroke while the fixed diameter of round chainrings don t provide the same possibility. How a pedal stroke looks like for each leg. What round rings ask the rider to do. What oval rings ask the rider to do. Color bars: Muscles activation Naturally smooth spin for everybody thanks to OCP. If pedaling style rotates the pedal stroke, then the orientation of non-adjustable oval rings may not be appropriate. Reduced knee strain There are less accelerations and decelerations because knee speed remains more constant. The resulting force representing the tension suffered by the knee is therefore less with Q RINGS than with round chainrings. Increased performance Knee speed Q RINGS Round chainrings Oval chainrings Reduced fatigue and faster recovery. Increased endurance. Stronger sprints and accelerations. INpower technology Pedal analysis via TORQUE 360 feature Relationship between OCA and OCP powermeters INpower accurately measures power from the left leg via the axle and multiplies it by two to provide total power data. 2INpower additionally measures power from the right leg via the right crank to provide precise data about power output and balance. Both include the unique TORQUE 360 feature to demonstrate where improvements can be made to pedaling performance. s OCP technology applied to INpower allows oval Q RINGS to be adjusted for optimized pedaling biomechanics. TORQUE 360 and OCA: Pedal analysis Optimize your pedaling biomechanics by viewing your pedaling technique At what angle your pedal stroke is centered OCA (Optimum Chainring Angle) How you should orientate cranks in relation to the Q RINGS based on your pedal stroke OCP MEASUREMENT: Strain gauges in the axle for left leg power measurement.
