From Changing Dear Changing, Well, it seems like your best friend is possibly older than you. Have you ever thought that maybe you two weren t friends until your brother started dating her? Even though your best friend is marrying your brother, you two should still be able to be good friends. Dear Phoebe, How often do you eat, because I eat seven times a day? Is that normal? Anonymous Dear Anonymous, Well, I usually eat three meals a day, but then I always go and grab a snack in the evening. Actually it is healthier to eat six or seven small meals a day than to eat a few larger meals. So if your meals are on the smaller side, I would say that is perfectly normal. Submit your questions to the Ask Phoebe box at the library circulation desk.
T HE P ATRIOT TIMES P AGE 3 McDougal s Classes Play the Hunger Games May the odds be ever in your favor in the first ever annual Hunger Games for Mrs. McDougal s classes held Friday, November 9, a sunny afternoon on the Patriot playing field. As in the novel, we had two victors, one male and one female. They were both crowned the winners of the Hunger Games. Our female victor was the Furious Fashionista Emilee Spangler, who also goes by Peyton. She was the winner for 5/6 periods. Our male victor was our very own Meaty Man Trevor Shires. He is as fast as a cheetah and strong as an ox. He was the victor for 7/8 periods. Both of these victors received a banner that said I Survived. We congratulate each of these victors for their success. For what will come in next year s second annual Hunger Games, I wish luck to them as well. All I have to say is May the odds be ever in your favor. Written by Kierston Carson Game Review: F.E.A.R. First Encounter Assault And Recon F.E.A.R. First Encounter Assault And Recon is a horror first person shooter. You play as Point Man, who was just hired by First Encounter Assault Recon to find and eliminate Paxton Fettel while trying to figure out the paranormal activity that is going on in the city. The dark and foreboding lighting effects make you jump at every noise and movement. There are many weapons to find and use against your enemies, everything from a sniper rifle to a three round burst rocket launcher. F.E.A.R. puts fear into the hearts of its players. Mind Bender: The License Plate Game This is a great game to play on a long road trip. Look at a license plate of a nearby car. Using the letters in order, think of a word that uses those letters. For example, BVD196 could be absolved or believed. The goal can be to be the first to think of a word, or the shortest or the longest or the most creative word, or whatever you choose. After all, the road is long! Can you think of words for YBX or DJR?
