The conditions at Henley were perfect for a day at the beach, with many of the participants enjoying the warm weather. The all female event consisted of two divisions with two Grand Finals played, with the Last Minute Wonders claiming division 1 whilst Inky s Ponkies won division 2, in what were two tightly contested games. Many teams got into the spirit of the event with some fantastic costumes however it was team Malila with their interpretation of salmon swimming upstream that eventually claimed this prize ahead of the wonderfully dressed Toga girls. Teams got into the spirit of AUTC s Beach Touch tournament at Henley Beach in January The day was a great success with many people coming to watch, support and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. The AUTC thanks those that assisted on the day with special mentions to Mel Johnson, Cat Murphy, Jeff Dutschke, John Heauzler and Jo Waugh all coming out super early to set up the fields and organize the event.
