Pop Quiz: What is the correct order of the following words from most at risk to least?

Pop Quiz: What is the correct order of the following words from most at risk to least?,,,.

What causes a species to become at risk?

What causes a species to become at risk? Disturbance to Environments a disturbance is any change in a community's environment. A given community may even experience two types of disturbance. 1. Natural 2. Human caused What does the word equilibrium mean? Equilibrium generally means stable or balanced. So if a population is at equilibrium it means they are around the carrying capacity. If a disturbance happens, would this affect the state of equilibrium?

Types of Disturbances: Habitat Loss and Change: greatest cause of biodiversity loss clearing forests (logging, buildings roads/ houses,) removal of food, shelter and other resources organisms need to survive. the smaller the habitat, the faster it loses it's biodiversity. Invasive Species: a non native (alien) organism that spreads widely in a community this can affect population growth Pollution: fertilizers, pesticides, and toxic chemicals pollution to air and water that can poison people and wildlife. Overharvesting: when species are hunted, fished, or harvested faster than the population can replenish itself some species of sea life are facing ion due to over fishing (whales, sharks, tuna) poaching (illegal capture or killing of an organism)
