Spring Show Information May 7th, 2016 11:00 am & 1:30 pm Wayzata High School Gymnasium Tickets Tickets for the shows are $7.00 for adults and $5.00 for students (children 5 years and under are free). You can purchase the tickets at the studio 2 weeks before the shows or you can get them at the door of the show. If you want to purchase a ticket for both shows (11:00 & 1:30) you can buy a multi-show pass at a reduced price of $12.00 for adults for both shows and $8.00 for students for both shows. Arrival Information Dancers (except for the Tiny Kix) should arrive approximately 60 minutes prior to their show, dressed in their uniform with their hair and make-up done. **See the specifications for each class later in this information** Tiny Kix should arrive 15 minutes before their show begins, dressed in their uniform with their hair done. All dancers will be in the Girls Athletic or Phy Ed Locker Rooms at the high school. There will be signs on the locker room doors to which locker room each team should be in. That is where they should be dropped off and then just dancers should go to the gym for finale rehearsal. They should not be wandering around or in the gym area without their instructors at any time. Closed Dress Rehearsal there will be a Closed Dress Rehearsal for just dancers and staff from 10:00-10:45 for the first show and 12:40-1:15 for the second show. Drop off your daughters for the rehearsal in the gym but the doors for spectators will not open until 10:45 for the first show and 1:15 for the second show. Please stay out of the gym during rehearsal so we all can stay focused for the short time we have to pull everything together for the show. End Time 12:10 pm 2:40 pm Parking With a large number of families arriving at the same time there will be a lot of people in the parking lot. However, there is more than enough parking and more than enough seating in the gym so there is no reason to arrive earlier than directed. Seating We will have a full crowd, but there will be enough seats for everyone. Our routines are choreographed to be viewed from above, so every seat in the gym is a good one. We ask that the first couple of rows of the bleachers are reserved for parents of the Tiny Kix (as those dancers sit with their parents after they perform) and for families that have a member unable to climb the bleachers. During the Show Applause is strongly encouraged during the dances! When you see something you like while they are performing, please let them know by making some noise! A dance performance is an interactive experience. Once the show has begun, please refrain from moving while a team is performing. If you must leave your seat please do so in-between numbers.
After the Show Our last number will be the finale which encompasses all classes K-12th. Our staff will stay on the gym floor with the K-3rd grade dancers until parents come down onto the floor to pick them up. Older dancers are free to meet their parents in the bleachers after the finale or back in the locker rooms. Make sure to arrange a meeting place prior to dropping your dancer off. Our Tiny Kix and Teeny Kix Special Session dancers will sit with their families following their last performance. Remember - the gym will be cleared right after the 11:00 show that will end around 12:10, so please quickly leave the gym area right after the show so we can get it all set up for the rehearsal that begins at 12:40 with the show at 1:30.
