Campers can also choose a full day of camp which runs from 8:30 4:30pm. The full day campers bring their own lunch and eat it between 12:00 and 1:00 with a member of our staff. We follow the same check in and checkout procedures for every camp. We check our campers in at the camp check in table (that has signs hanging down from the ceiling directing parents on where to go). When we check in the campers, we are required to ask the person dropping off who will be picking the child up. If it is someone other than the parents, we let them know that we will need to check the ID of the person picking them up. We also ask the person dropping off if the child has any allergies or medical conditions we should be aware of. Once the child is checked in, they can say their goodbyes to mom or dad and enter the gym. They will go to their camp sign and either sit or play a game in their designated area. 1:00-4:30pm Afternoon Camp: These campers are always offered a snack half way through their camp. They are located in our Snack Bin. We take it outside to the tent every morning so it is readily available. We try to enjoy it outside in the tents (with the weather permitting). We offer the following choices (not all at the same time). The campers can choose two of the following: Pretzels Animal crackers Cheez-its Popcorn Goldfish

The following choices of drinks are offered everyday: (These are stored inside in the refrigerator. We choose our drink when we take a bathroom break before snack). Grape juice Apple juice Water is offered at anytime 1:00-1:10 Welcome to Camp! Today we are going to sit on the parachute that we can pretend is our magic carpet. We will tell all of our princess friends our name and our favorite princess movie. We will quickly go over a few basic rules: 1. Can I push, sit, jump, or chew on my Princess friends? NO. 2. What happens if I have to use the bathroom? Tell the Teacher. 3. Can I take toys from my friends? No, we all share. 4. Can I run around like a wild animal? No, we are all princesses and that means we are polite young ladies. 5. Can we have fun? YES!! 1:10-1:20 Story Time: We are going to take our blanket and find a nice shady spot outside to hear the story: Cinder Edna by: Ellen Jackson. 1:20 1:45 Craft: Princess Menu s Today we will be building our very own Princess Restaurant. In order to have a restaurant we need a menu. Each princess will design their very own menu using card stock, food magazines, crayons, markers, glue, and stickers. 1:45 2:15 Princess Sugar Sheik Restaurant Boutique Today we are going to pretend to be opening our very own princess restaurant. We will use mats to help build our restaurant. After we have built our restaurant we will take turns being the customer, waitress, and cook. We will be using our pretend food and supplies. 2:15 2:45 Princess Playdough We are going to be making some of the most amazingly sugarlicious creations of all time. There will be no restaurant on the face of the earth that will have more amazing creations than the Princess Sugar Sheik Restaurant Boutique! 2:45 2:55 Bathroom and Drink Break 2:55 3:15 Tea Time

With the weather permitting we will walk to a shady tree, sit on a blanket and enjoy our delicious snacks using our tea set. You will use the cups for their juice or water and the saucers for their snacks. During snack time we will also read the story: Do Princesses Really Kiss Frogs? by: Carmela LaVigna Coyle. 3:15-4:00 Princess WANDerous Salon Today we are going to have our princess up-do s done at the Princess WANDerous Salon. While the campers take turns getting their hair done, we will also be trying on our princess dress up clothes. Don t forget to also try on the royal jewels. Make sure to have princess music playing in the background. *Our dress up clothes are a mixture of princess dresses, old homecoming dresses, kids high heel and grown up high heel shoes, costume jewelry and kids jewelry. Some items we purchased from ebay, stores, garage sales, and some staff members donated* 4:00-4:15 Princess ze Dance Party Find a spot on the floor and spread out. We are going to listen to the song, The ze by Greg and Steve. This is always a lot of fun for the kids to get their sillies out. After that we are going to use the parachute and play the game Trading Princesses. Everyone will hold on to the parachute and the coach will call a princesses name. That princess will raise her hand and then the coach will call another princesses name. That camper will raise her hand. The rest of the princesses will lift up the parachute and the two princesses will flutter under the parachute and trade places. 4:15 4:20 Prepare to Leave: We will clean up any messes that we have made and then we will collect all of our belongings and line up behind our camp signs. We will then go over today s adventures. 4:20 4:30 Camp Dismissal Procedures: All campers are lined up at their camp signs 10 minutes prior to camp ending. They are required to have all of their belongings, camp projects, and any informational notes with them. This will expedite the dismissal procedure. On Mondays we always give each child a FREE camp t-shirt. We also have campers who can choose to do a single day. This means there could be a new camper in camp every day. Make sure that every camper gets a t-shirt. Parents pick their child up at the same table that they checked their child in.

There will be 1-2 coaches with the kids at the signs, and the other coaches will be doing check out. After campers are dismissed, whoever has not been picked up goes to the office so that their parent can be called. After all children are accounted for, we then clean up for the following day. We have specific morning and afternoon camp duties that are required of the staff before and after camp. The staff members initial their task and turn it into the office after their shift.
