Seattle broke it open with 4 more runs in the 5th inning. STATE OF THE SOX: Boston has lost 5 of its last 6 games following 3 straight victories...they are 15-14 since the start of a season-long 7-game win streak from 5/26-6/1. The Sox are in 4th place in the AL East, 8.5 games back in the division, and are 7.0 games back in the race for the AL s 2nd Wild Card playoff berth.
