A 45-minute ferry ride transports you from Cozumel to the Mexican mainland, where you transfer to a bus to reach the compact site. The temples, fortifications and other structures are dominated by the pyramid called El Castillo, which sits on a high bluff overlooking the sea. Your guide will share the facts, myths, legends and secrets of this Maya settlement that was mysteriously abandoned soon after the Spanish conquest. The tour ends back in Cozumel.
