The INVINCIBLE How to Become a Difficult Target for an Attack special report kadochnikov system international association www.kadochnikovsystem.com

em st sy ov nik h oc ad ek th you SHould know to forsee! forsee to survive! survive to win! ial ec sp the invincible: rt po re How to Become a Difficult Target for an Attack. four stages of effective self-defense. The foundation stone on all the levels of the Kadochnikov System training is the trinity principle of forces physical, spiritual, intellectual

In the Russian TV-series The Time of Sindbad there is an interesting episode connected to the topic of our report. The hero of the story teaches the Special Forces school cadets to negotiate with terrorists, pretending to be a suicide bomber who has taken a hostage. In response to a cadet s remark that in the field, a sniper would simply shoot the terrorist, he says Maybe he would, maybe he wouldn t. The battle field is a battle field because the circumstances can change unexpectedly. And your life depends on your reaction to this change. And though the majority of people don t receive any special training with teachers, just like the hero of the movie, who would train them in the right behavior in extreme circumstances, nobody can feel secure against a situation where they have to protect themselves and people close to them. Usually no help can come to you in these situations due to their rapidness. You can only count on yourself your knowledge, skills and abilities. Many people make a mistake in believing that good physical shape and a well-placed blow, trained in a gym can solve all their problems in cases of self-defense. In the majority of cases however their certainty turns into huge disappointment when they find themselves in a real life situation of physical aggression. No surprise there. For effective self-defense, one doesn t need rough physical force, but the right training for handling oneself in these situations, when any physically weak, ill or injured man, woman or even a child can protect themself from any violence or aggressive manifestation. In its basic form this training can be represented by four subsequent steps: 1. Determining the threat and preparation for the counteraction 2. Counteracting rough physical pressure (holding, grip) 3. Counteracting high-speed force (hits by different body parts, with objects and cold weapons) 4. Escaping the situation after solving the task at hand. As a rule the main task in self-defense situations is to preserve one s life and health (both physical and mental) If a person is trained to behave correctly in a potentially dangerous situation, he has a chance of preventing it from happening or escaping it at the early stage. In case it s impossible he can still be ready for the rough physical confrontation and the conditions determining it (adrenalin and other auxiliary physiological body reactions, as well as stress, fear and pain).

If a person is trained to behave correctly in a potentially dangerous situation, he has a chance of preventing it from happening or escaping it at the early stage So, what are the characteristics of all these 4 stages? 1. Determining the threat and preparation for the counteraction Effective self-defense is first of all the ability to avoid a physical confrontation, and in case it s unavoidable the ability to control instant fear and shock. Any methods of self-defense can be useless if a person is in a state of stupor or fear. Any techniques are useless without emotional preparation for what is happening to you in these situations. That is why the foundation stone on all the levels of the Kadochnikov System training is the trinity principle of forces physical, spiritual, intellectual.

The 25%-rule and the principle of using an opponent s strength against him based on the laws of psycho-biomechanical interaction is the optimal fighting algorithm for a physical confrontation in extreme circumstances This principal guides all the elements of the Kadochnikov System, starting from the basics. When practicing the basic movements, such as the elements of self-safety or escaping holds, you already use this principle, even if you haven t yet realized it. Not everything is explained instantly on a verbal level, so that the beginners are not distracted from accomplishing the necessary actions. Awareness comes with practice. The most important thing at this stage is learning to feel the danger approaching in order to be able to avoid it or have enough time to prepare for what happens next. Understanding of conflict psychology, ability to control one s fear and adrenalin will save you from becoming someone s easy prey in a dangerous situation. The ability to read an attackers body language, skills of verbal self-defense, as well as setting verbal and physical shields will help you prepare yourself for the stage of direct physical confrontation if unavoidable. Almost every physical attack has vital seconds for preparation. And the winners are those who can spot the danger approaching and effectively use these precious seconds before the attack. Attackers need a victim. They don t want to get involved with a difficult target without a solid reason. 2. Counteracting rough physical pressure (holding, grip) Modern self-defense manuals give one piece of advice Strike first if things look bad. Of course they also advise to practice the technique of a knockout blow beforehand. We can accept the idea of active behavior in self-defense situation, but highly doubt the recommendations of stereotype reaction based on a strikefirst principal. Sometimes it may be appropriate, and sometimes it may not. As any such situation is unpredictable. That is why one needs to be prepared to counteract

any pressure. When failing to timely counteract rough pressure (a neck grip from behind, for example), you can find yourself at a disadvantage, which can cause serious damage. Your opponent can be physically stronger and bigger than you are, you can be outnumbered, that is why not all of the existing counteraction methods can prove to be effective in a self-defense situation. For that reason the 25%-rule and the principle of using an opponent s strength against him (based on the laws of psycho-biomechanical interaction) is the optimal fighting algorithm for a physical confrontation in extreme circumstances. Mastering the basic skills of not responding to force by force, but using the opponent s mass and energy against himself, you will considerably boost your potential for an appropriate reaction to the rough physical pressure in a self-defense situation. 3. Counteracting high-speed force (hits by different body parts, with objects and cold weapons) High-speed pressure such as hits to different body parts, with objects and cold weapons represents a serious threat for any person s life and health. The training to counteract this type of pressure takes time and considerable efforts on your part. The important thing is to understand the core principal. Which is: we protect ourselves from any objects, which can harm our body by means of universal algorithms. Your opponent can be physically stronger and The main principal is to receive blows in the plane of their origin by breaking up their negative impact into components bigger than you are, you can be outnumbered, that is why not all of the existing counteraction methods can prove to be effective in a self-defense situation

In other words we use a single fighting algorithm that allows us to redirect the threat away from our body, no matter what is the object of a strike arm, leg, blunt or sharp objects. Of course there is a difference in actions against different types of objects and cold weapons. The direction of the strike, an object s shape and even the curve angle are of importance. But these only matter after mastering the basic skills. The main principal is to receive blows in the plane of their strike by breaking up their negative impact into components. A small example. Close your eyes and imagine that someone wants to hit you on the head with a big stick from above. He has made a big swing and is ready to bring the mass of the stick strengthened by the speed of its movement down on your poor head. You realize that it s impossible to beat off the stick with your hand it injures your arm. No time to run away, because you have loitered and noticed the threat too late. What can you do in this situation? Join your palms together at the level of your chest and move them forward and up towards the strike, if possible making one step forward. The strength of the blow will become a tangential motion along your hand, forearm and shoulder. You have met the blow in the plane of its strike. A little bit of practice and this principal will become your natural and handy skill for directing the threat away from your body. Try to stay focused and concentrated Mastering the basic skills of not responding to force by force, but using the opponent s mass and energy against himself, you will considerably boost your potential for an appropriate reaction to the rough physical pressure in a self-defense situation.

Many people make a mistake in believing that good physical shape and a well-placed hit, trained in a gym can solve all their problems in case of selfdefense. In the majority of cases however their certainty turns into huge disappointment when finding oneself in a real life situation of physical aggression. 4. Escaping the situation after solving the task at hand. If you managed to spot the potencial danger in time and prepared yourself for it, if you know how to prevent yourself from being grabbed or hit, then you have a very good chance to escape this situation unharmed. Try to stay focused and concentrated. Don t get obsessed with finishing your opponent whatever the cost. Your task is to preserve life and health, not to become a champion in the street fight. Don t forget about the legal side of self-defense that can vary in different countries and have certain consequences. Figure out what s more important for you prevailing of justice or your own safety. Now that you know what can happen in a real life self-defense situation you need to prepare for it to turn yourself from an easy prey or victim into a target difficult to attack. If you ve already acquired a sufficient amount of knowledge, skills and abilities, you can create your own fighting algorithm for a dangerous situation. If you wish to fill in the blanks in your knowledge or start your training of correct behavior and reaction in dangerous situations from scratch, you can use the new online training called Kadochnikov System Seven Day Intensive Training. It consists of twelve training modules, each one of them teaches you those training steps that we ve discussed in this report, and a complex program of preparation for the fighting interaction in physical confrontation. The training contains knowledge and provides skills on determining and spotting a dangerous situation at a very early stage. You will learn ways of self mobilizing and preparation, as well as get special skills of working with your body in a condition of stress or adrenaline rush. You ll learn to create verbal and physical shields to control the situation and get yourself physically and mentally prepared for the moment when the situation gets to the point of direct physical confrontation.

The training contains knowledge and provides skills on determining and spotting a dangerous situation at a very early stage. You will learn ways of self mobilizing and preparation, as well as get special skills of working with your body in a condition of stress or adrenaline rush. Almost every physical attack is preceded by vital seconds of preparation. The person who normally wins is the one who can spot the approaching danger in time and use the precious seconds effectively. Attackers need victims. They don t want to get involved with a difficult target for no reason. You will learn to counteract rough physical pressure aimed at you. It s based on mastering the skill that helps us use the opponent s strength against him. Because even if you are in a good physical form your opponent can turn out to be physically stronger or bigger than you are. Besides you can be outnumbered. For that reason the 25%-rule and the principle of using an opponent s strength against him (based on the laws of psycho-biomechanical interaction) is the optimal fighting algorithm for a physical confrontation in extreme circumstances. You will master the basic skills for not responding to force by force, but using the opponent s mass and energy against himself, you will considerably boost your potential for an appropriate reaction to the rough physical pressure in a selfdefense situation.

The training will teach you to counteract high-speed pressure hits by different body parts, with objects and cold weapons. The opponent or opponents can act very fast, hits can be instant, on the sly, involving all sorts of methods for your distraction. That is why the common means of defense (such as blocks, beating off) are unproductive in self-defense situations as they mainly depend on the speed of your reaction, physical shape and training. Besides the speed of your motion is an inborn skill, it can t be significantly boosted by training. Which means your opponent can be faster than you or he can have more developed speed and force characteristics. Also sudden movements such as beating off can t help you control your body, make you vulnerable in these moments, so we are not even talking about controlling your opponent. That is why Module Three will teach you the methods of high-speed force counteraction, that allow you to use your opponent s speed against himself, adding acceleration to his speed so he wouldn t be able to control it. You ll learn to receive any hits softly and in the plane of the strike, adding acceleration and getting your opponent in the state of imbalance both physically and mentally, by influencing not only his body, but his mind as well. You will also learn the fighting algorithms of situational self-defense. Soft counteraction doesn t mean passive counteraction. Softness, smoothness and fluidity of your actions can be deceitful. You know the points and areas of active destruction, impact degree on these areas and results you ll get. Your defense and attack moves are one. With each movement you make your opponent vulnerable and of course use this vulnerability by all means available. Each part of your body is a weapon if you know where to strike. Blows, impacts on joints, knock-downs and suffocation any arsenal becomes effective in your hands because you constantly put your opponent in the state of disadvantage even by what seems to be harmless actions. This is what the fighting algorithm you ll learn in this training is all about. The new online training called Kadochnikov System Seven Day Intensive Training will be ready very soon in a couple of days. You can order it on our website. We will send you the details of the issue date in a separate email with the letter subject Seven day intensive training.
