The Meeting is deemed by Karting Australia as a Club Driver Rankings Meeting and will be conducted in accordance with the additional requirements of the 2019 CDR Rules and Conditions of Participation. 6.3. COMPETITION GROUPS Competition Group The Competition Groups listed below are permitted to compete at this Meeting. Competition Group names as listed in the 2019 Australian Karting Manual Competition Rules Chapter 5 Rule 7 must be used. ENTRIES 2.1 ENTRIES OPEN: 07:00 15/03/2019 2.2 PRE-ENTRIES CLOSE: 22:59 4/04/2019 Note: A discount for lodging a Pre-Entry Will apply. 2.4 ENTRIES CLOSE: 07:45 6/04/2019 3. MINIMUM ENTRIES 5.1 6 is the minimum number of pre-entries which must be received for each Competition Group. 5.2 If insufficient entries are received for a Competition Group to form in its own right, the Competition Group must be consolidated in accordance with the Competition Rules Chapter 1 Rule 9. 6. BRING A MATE SESSION 6.1 A Bring a Mate session Will Not be conducted at this Meeting. 7. TEAMS COMPETITION 7.1 Teams Competition Will Not be conducted at this Meeting. 3. COMPETITION 1. FORMAT OF RACING CLUB COMPETITION GROUPS 1.1 Practice 1 Practice session of 3 minutes per class will be held for the non Rotax Classes only. 1.2 Qualifying 1.3 Heats & Final 2. DISTANCES Heat 1 Rotax Classes Heat 1 Other Classes Final Rotax Classes There will be one (1) Qualifying session of 6 minutes for the Rotax Classes. Rotax Classes will be combined for qualifying. Micro Max & Mini Max; Rotax Light & Rotax Heavy; DD2 & DD2 Masters; JMAX. If Timed Qualifying occurs (Order of Karts on the grid must be random no high/low numbers) The system of gridding for Rotax Classes will be in accordance with State Regulations - Club Competition Format 3. For all other Classes, the system of gridding will be in accordance with State Regulations Club Competition Format 17. FUEL 5.1 Control Fuel will be used at this Meeting. 5.2 Supply details for Control Fuel are: a) Pulp 98 for use at this Meeting must be purchased on or after 4/04/2019 from: b) BP Service Station, Cunningham Highway, Amberley c) Control Fuel must be used for all days covered on these Supplementary Regulations. d) Proof of purchase of the fuel must be retained and produced to the Chief Scrutineer or Fuel Tester if required. 6. TROPHIES AND PRIZES 7.1 ACTIVITY Trophies will only be awarded to the following classes: Cadet 9, Cadet 12, Micro Max, Mini Max, 4SS Junior, KA4 Junior Light, KA3 Junior, JMax, 4SS Senior, KA3 Senior Light, TAG 125 Restricted Light, TAG 125 Restricted Medium, TAG 125 Restricted Masters, Rotax Light, Rotax Heavy, TAG 125 Light, DD2, DD2 Masters. Trophies 1st to 3rd in the above classes (min six (6) entries required); If 5 entries 1 st & 2nd place only; If 3 entries 1st place only. Trophies will be awarded to the IKC Club day Challenge Program winner in the following classes/groups: Cadet 9 Group 2, Cadet 9 Group 3, Cadet 12 Group 2, Cadet 12 Group 3, KA4 Junior Group 2, KA4 Junior Group 3, TAG Restricted Light Group 2, TAG Restricted Light Group 3, TAG Restricted Medium Group 2, TAG Restricted Masters Group 2. 4. CIRCUIT SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS 1. PADDOCK ALLOCATION Paddock allocation Will occur for the Meeting refer to http://ipswichkartclub.org.au/about-us/allocated-pit-bays 2. MEDICAL SERVICES 2.1. Any Medical assistance that is required outside of the operating hours when Kart s are not on the Race Track please contact 000. The address to give to the Emergency Services is: Your Specific Location Ipswich Kart Club 56 Champions Way, Willowbank 3. KART RETRIEVAL 3.1. Pit Crew with trolleys Will Not be given access to the Circuit during Qualifying and Racing. 3.2. Retrieval of Karts is at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course 3.3. Pit Crew must only enter the Circuit when permitted by the Grid Marshal or the Clerk of the Course and then only if wearing a HIGH VISIBILITY SAFETY VEST on the upper torso. 3.4. Karts can be retrieved via the Out Grid, Control Tower and Ambulance Gate. 4. ADDITIONAL VENUE REQUIREMENTS 4.1. Subject to any applicable laws which may govern the access of animals, including but not limited to guide dogs, no animals are allowed anywhere within the facility. 4.2. No dumping of Fuel or Tyres, please make your own arrangements. 4.3. No unlicenced driving of motor vehicles permitted at the Circuit. 4.4. No motorised scooters, mini bikes, roller blading, skateboards, bicycles and tricycles allowed at the complex during the entire Meeting. Officials may confiscate any such items for the duration of the Meeting. 4.5. Marquees are not to be erected without consent of the Club.
