Class names as used in the 2019 Australian Karting Manual must be used. 3. ENTRY FEE 3.1. The Entry Fee for each Class at this Meeting including GST and TDF Levy is as follows: Competition Class Name Entry Fee Seniors $80.00 Junior and cadet $60.00 Second or Third Class Entered $25.00 Please note $20.00 from each driver s entry at each Western Cup race meeting will go towards a Series mega prize pool to be drawn amongst all driver entries at the Final Round of the series. Each driver will receive an entry into the end of year prize per nomination. 4. ENTRY PROCEDURE 4.1. Each Entry for this Meeting may be made using the CMS as follows: Log on to your driver information via http://www.karting.net.au/ Click on the licence and entries icon ( top centre of the screen ) Click on the Enter a Race Meeting icon Enter your log on details Under My Details functions, choose Pre Enter Race Meeting Choose the State in which the Meeting is being held Choose the Club who is the Organiser of the Meeting 4.2. Payment of the Entry Fee can be made as follows: Credit card Payments can be made via CMS using SecurePay ONLY Payment at the Track Will be accepted for Late Entries Only. If accepted, the following payment methods are available: Cash 5. MINIMUM ENTRIES 5.1. 5 is the minimum number of pre entries which must be received for each Class and/or Division. 5.2. 5.3. If insufficient entries are received for a Class and/or Division to form in its own right, the Compulsory Competition Classes will be Consolidated in accordance with Competition Rules - Chapter 1, Rule 9. Discretionary Competition Classes may be Consolidated in accordance with the Rules or cancelled at the discretion of the Organiser and in accordance with the Rules. Please note: for this meeting, any classes which have not met minimum Entries by close of Online Entries at 9pm. WILL BE CANCELLED. If a Class or Division is cancelled, the Entry Fee may be refunded at the discretion of the Organiser and in accordance with the Rules. 3. COMPETITION 1. FORMAT OF RACING 2. Practice 2 X 5 minute sessions on Saturday 2.3.19 3. Qualifying 4. Heats & Final 5. DISTANCES There will be Timed Qualifying at this Event. There will be one (1) x 6 min Qualifying session. PLEASE NOTE: Grid position for qualifying, will be in order of entry through CMS. i.e 1 st entry= P1 on grid for qualifying, 2 nd entry = P2 on grid for qualifying etc. The system of gridding will be in accordance with State Regulations - Series Competition Format 5 Heat 1 12 laps Heat 2 12 laps Heat 3 12 laps Final 6. ACCESS TO CIRCUIT 18 laps 6.1. Competitors will be permitted to enter the Circuit from 10am on 28/02/2019 7. DRIVERS BRIEFING 7.1 DATE: 2/03/2019 TIME: 11.45am LOCATION: Canteen Area 8. FUEL 8.1. PULP and E10 PULP (delete fuel not being used) is the only fuel permitted to be used at this Meeting. 8.2. 9. 10. TROPHIES & PRIZES 10.1. Trophies will be presented to 1 st, 2 nd & 3 rd placegetters $20.00 from each driver s entry at each race meeting will go towards a Series Mega Prize Pool to 10.2. be drawn amongst all driver entries at the Final Round of the Series. Each driver will receive an entry into the end of the year prize draw per nomination. Dunlop, MG and Bridgestone Sponsorship For all drivers using Dunlop, MG or Bridgestone tyres at this meeting your name will be put in a 10.3. draw. At trophy presentation a name will be drawn out for the Dunlop, MG and Bridgestone classes. That driver will receive a set of tyres for their respective class. The driver has to be present at trophy presentation to receive their prize. 4. CIRCUIT SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS 1. PADDOCK ALLOCATION Paddock allocation Will occur for the meeting. Please refer to and RETURN the attached pit allocation form for booking of appropriate space. 2. MEDICAL SERVICES 2.1. Any Medical assistance that is required outside of the operating hours when Kart s are not on the Race Track please contact 000. The address to give to the Emergency Services is: Midwest Kart Club Lot 2 Geraldton- Mt Magnet Rd Moonyoonooka 6532 In front of Geraldton City Speedway. 3. KART RETRIEVAL 3.1. Pit Crew with trolleys will not be given access to the Circuit during Qualifying and Racing. 3.2. Retrieval of Karts is at the discretion of the Clerk of the Course 4. 3.3. Pit Crew must only enter the Circuit when permitted by the Grid Marshal and then only if wearing a HIGH VISIBILITY SAFETY VEST on the upper torso. ACCOMODATION AND CAMPING AT TRACK Camping facilities are available, but you will have to provide your own arrangements. 5. ADDITIONAL VENUE REQUIREMENTS 5.1. Subject to any applicable laws which may govern the access of animals, including but not limited to guide dogs, no animals are allowed anywhere within the facility. 5.2. No dumping of Fuel or Tyres, please make own arrangements. 5.3. No unlicenced driving of motor vehicles permitted at the Circuit. 5.4. No motorised scooters, mini bikes, roller blading, skateboards and tricycles allowed at the complex during the entire Meeting. Officials may confiscate any such items for the duration of the Meeting. 5.5. Marquees are not to be erected without consent of the Club. 5.6. Full canteen facilities will be available at the track from Friday at 10.00am. Saturday and Sunday from 6.00am. Meals available each night. Any competitor who competes at the Midwest Kart Club round of the Western Cup will be awarded 1156 bonus 5.7. points for each class or division entered. 5.8. Our liquor license prohibits BYO alcohol. 5.9. Video Recording System is required at this race meeting. As per State Regulations. Sunday night straight after presentations we will be having Hot Beef and Gravy rolls and salad for sale at the 5.10. canteen. We will also be having live entertainment.
