Hunter Divisions All Medal Classes & HJEO Hunter - $20 HJEO Hunter Derby $40 All Other Classes - $18 All Warm Up Classes - Heights will be the same as the classes running concurrently Lead Line Open to riders under six years old, riders may not cross enter into any other class. Participation is free Cross Rail Hunter Open to non-professional riders who have not competed in classes of 2'6" or higher at any HJEO, GO, OHJA or USEF recognized show. Fences 18" maximum, no oxers, no fillers. Trotting is not to be penalized for over fence classes. US is walk/trot only. Short Stirrup Fences 18". Open to riders ten years old & under who have not competed in any HJEO, USEF or OHJA show with fences 2 6" or higher. Trotting not penalized. US is walk-trot only. Long Stirrup Fences 18. Open to riders 11 years & older who have not competed in any HJEO, USEF or OHJA show with fences 2'6" or higher. Trotting not penalized. US is walk-trot only. 2' Open Hunter Fences 2' Open to all riders of any age. Under saddle WTC 2 3 Very Low Hunter Fences 2'3". Open to all riders of any age. US is WTC Beginner Hunter Fences are 2'3". Horses or ponies. Open to riders who have not competed in classes 2 9 or higher at any HJEO, USEF, GO or OHJA recognized show HJEO Hunter Fences 2'6", figure-eight course. This class is designed for beginner and intermediate riders and is open to all non-professional members of HJEO on horses owned by HJEO members. First place winners will be eliminated for the remainder of the year and will be qualified for the annual ride-off. The HJEO hunter class is a horse qualification class only. The horse/rider combination winner of the year-end ride-off is no longer eligible for this class. Three much be entered and shown for this class to count. Open 2 6 Hunter Fences 2'6". Open to all riders, horses and ponies. Intermediate Hunter Fences 2'6". Open to horses and ponies, not open to professional riders. Not open to riders who prior to the current competition year, have competed at fence height of 3' or higher at OHJA, HJEO or USEF shows. Not open to any rider who has won a year end champion or reserve Champion in Intermediate Hunter or Equitation Divisions. Rusty Stirrup Hunter Fences 2'6". Open to non-professional riders, 35 years or older. Modified Ch/Ad Hunter Fences 2'9". Open to non -professional riders 3 Hunter Fences 3'. Open to all riders, open to horses and ponies NLT/HJEO Hunter Derby Fences 2'6" with 2'9" options. To be held in a two-round format, with a classic hunter first round. The top 12 rider/horse combinations to be called back to the handy round which will include a trot jump and hand gallop jump as per course designer discretion. Open to all non-pro riders, points toward HJEO year-end only for HJEO members. Points toward NLT Derby Day will also be calculated. Awards: champion, reserve champion and third through eighth place ribbons. A series of at least nine fences with non-related and related with lines no less than three strides. Hunter type fences reminiscent of cross country hunt. (NLT Derby Day will also have a point system for this derby and Derby Day for year-end high point awards. )
Equitation Divisions Rider must be a member Of HJEO and/or OHJA for points to count in equitation classes for each organization. At least three must complete the course consisting of eight jumps with two changes of direction. Fences 3' and 3'3", respectively, spreads not to exceed 3' and 3'3". Testing of top two to six riders is required. USEF test 1-14. HJEO Mini edal To be shown over a figure-eight course with fences 2 6'. Only equitation counts, rider must be a HJEO member. This class is designed for beginner and intermediate riders. The winner shall be qualified for the annual ride-off. The winner of the ride-off is no longer eligible for the class. One horse per rider. Three exhibitors must be entered and show for this class to count. Jumper Divisions Puddle Jumpers Fences.75-.85m Schooling Jumpers Fences.90 -.95m 1.m Jumper Fences 1 meter 1.05m Jumper Fences 1.05 meter Management reserves the right to move classes to different order to balance the time schedule as needed. Management may elect to add breaks in the schedule as necessary for the running of the show Management may combine classes if entries are needed to run divisions or classes, with the exception of medals and the derby. Ride & Drive Challenge An exciting class open to all riders, horses and ponies. Riders will enter the arena and compete short course set at 2'3" and 2'6" After completing the course, riders will hand their horses/ponies off to a handler, then get into an ATV or like vehicle to compete (or with an unbiased driver) to compete in a course in the outdoor arena). Then the competitor will get out of the vehicle in the designated area, complete another set of obstacles on foot and run to the finish line and ring the bell. The rider with the fastest time and least number of faults overall wins. Proper attire required. Costume Class Horse & Rider Judged right before the derby Saturday evening
