The registration fee covers conference materials, welcome party, banquet, coffee breaks and excursion. The registration fee for the accompanying persons is 150 EURO, which covers also the special social program. It may be paid via the bank account or in cash at the conference registration. Important notes: The Organizing Committee kindly asks the participants to change in advance their money into EURO for paying the registration fee in cash. We regret that no personal or travelers cheques can be accepted. 5 Visas Participants from the following countries have free entrance to Armenia. These are: Argentina, Belarus, Brazil, Georgia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Vatican, United Arab Emirates, UK, USA. can receive a visa for 21 days (it costs 3 000 AMD) at the Zvartnots International Airport (appr. 1 Dollar US = 485 AMD). Note that the price of the visa paid at the Embassies and Consulates is different. Participants from all other countries could apply for visas with an invitation only. 6 Transportation Yerevan is connected by regular flights from Athens, Brussels, Doha, Paris, Vienna, Warsaw, Kiev, Minsk, Moscow (16 flights every day from the three Moscow airports: Sheremetevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo), Istanbul, Tbilisi, Tehran, Dubai and Sharjah. There are also regular flights to many Russian cities: St.Petersburg, Rostov, Saratov, Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and others. The time table of the international flights to Yerevan can be found at: http://www.zvartnots.am/ All participants are asked to inform the Organizing Committee the exact flight number, date and time of arrival no later than ten days before the arrival by E-mail. In Yerevan airport Zvartnoz all participants will be met by the representatives of the Organizing Committee carrying the label SYMPHYS-XVII. 7 Registration Desk It is expected that most participants will arrive on Sunday, 09 July. Conference Registration Desk opens from 17.00 to 22.00 in the Ani Plaza Hotel. The registration will resume on July 10 from 09.00 at the same place. Accommodation All the participants are offered accommodation in the four-star ANI PLAZA HOTEL http://www.anihotel.com where the Organizing Committee has a special agreement for low prices. The hotel is situated in the city center, close to all the sights of Yerevan. Those who prefer to stay at ANI PLAZA HOTEL are kindly asked to write to the organizing committee. Single - 30.000 AMD Double - 37.000 AMD King Single - 37.000 AMD King Double - 45.000 AMD Breakfast is included in the room price. Also available in the vicinity of the conference venue are located other hotels. Walk around Yerevan (Opera House, Abovyan str., Northern Ave., etc.). (for accompanying persons) 14:30-17:00 - Visit to Erebuni Museum-Reserve dedicated to the history of Yerevan foundation & the statue of Armenian national epic hero David of Sassoun. (for accompanying persons) 11 July, Tuesday 10:00-12:00 - Visit to the Museum of Martiros Saryan, famous Armenian painter of the 20th century (for accompanying persons) 14:00-17:00 - Visit to the Museum of Yervand Kochar, the heritage of the 20th century modern artist and sculptor; visit to the Cascade with the city overview and visit to the Cafesjyan Center for the Arts. (for accompanying persons) 12 July, Wednesday 10:00-21:00 - Excursion (outside Yerevan) (for all the participants) 13 July, Thursday 14:00-15:30 - Visit to National Gallery of Armenia (for accompanying persons) 14 July, Friday 09:30-12:00 - Visit to the small Armenian Shop and Traditional Armenian Market to taste and experience the Armenian food. (for accompanying Persons) 14:00-17:00 - Visit to the Museum of Contemporary Art OR Visit to the Paradjanov House- Museum, a famous film director and painter.
