This update also provides updated information on the AIS Track layout and updates to meetings and reporting for duty information. 1. Meetings and training sessions This section provides information on a number of meetings and training sessions to be held between now and ALAC2013. 5. Reporting for Duty! This table provides information for Officials and Junior Helpers (runners) during the ALAC 2013 event 26-28th. The Chief Track Umpire and Field Event Chiefs are to ensure that their teams report and leave, in an orderly fashion, their assigned track positions and event locations and are in position in sufficient time to allow events to commence as programmed. 6. Meals and Refreshments All volunteers attending the Track Familiarisation Day on the 27 th April will be provided with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Tea, coffee and water will be also be available in the Officials Area upon arrival and during the track familiarisation day. All volunteers attending the ALAC 2013 competition day will be provided with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. Tea, coffee and water will be also be available in the Officials Area upon arrival and during the competition. After the competition day a BBQ will be offered. Please advise Peter Boden if you have special dietary requirements. 7. Uniforms You will receive a tracksuit, t-shirt and cap which we ask you to wear as your official's/helper s uniform on the day. The uniforms are colour coded to the position you have been allocated and enable other officials/helpers and competitors to easily recognise your role when they need assistance. Enclosed shoes or runners (preferably black) are to be worn with the uniform. You will get to keep the uniform as a thankyou from us for your time and as a memento of the championships. Page 4 of 10
