Students do not need to be enrolled in the BGM district. If you, a family member, or a friend's family would like more information contact a cheerleader or Coach Franci and we can help! This summer the BGM Outdoor Adventure Program will be operating a little different. The plan is to do some kayaking, fishing, hiking and other selected activities. At this point in time there will only be eight students and myself going on each outing. This may change due to other possible adults that may be available for transporting. All 7-12 grade students should have received an email to inform you of the possibility and to find out who is interested. If this sounds like something you are interested in for this summer, then I would like you to respond to the email or come see me to let me know you are interested. Once I find out who is interested, then I will be contacting those people on what events we will be doing. Once a planned activity is set up, then I will email that information out to those that have shown interest. There will only be eight spots available per activity, so it will be given to the individuals that respond first. After I have gathered the information on who is interested in the Summer Program, then I will explain more of the details. Let me know if you have questions. Thank you Neal VanErsvelde BHS-BGM Alumni Reception, Saturday, May 27, 2017, at the MJM Community Center. Registration 11:15 AM, Lunch 12:00 PM, Meeting at 1:15 PM. Austin Hamilton Fundraiser Former BGM graduate, Austin Hamilton, was recently diagnosed with a rare type of Lymphoma. It was discovered after they found fluid around his heart and lungs. It is an aggressive cancer, and they are currently waiting for a consultation from Mayo Clinic on which treatments to begin. We all know chemotherapy, the trips back and forth to doctors and treatments, and the time off work can be very costly and exhausting, so please take part in the spare change drive. You would be surprised how much you can help Austin and his family. There will be a box in the office where you can drop your change off and a bucket for dollar bill donations. This fundraiser will last until the end of the school year. The school year is winding down so please take part in this with the time we have left!
