A BROADENING VIEW THE WALNUT LANE GOLF COURSE In partnership with The First Tee and the Walnut Lane Golf Course, Global Leadership Academy is proud to present our third annual golf outing fundraiser in honor of our blossoming athletics programs. With your support, we plan to offer our scholars top-notch athletics programs and events, while preparing them to play in a global market. Global Leadership Academy believes learning should not be limited to the classroom. We encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities to build their social skills and challenge both their bodies and minds. Through events and excursions which have included the U.S. Open and various golf course visits, our team has been exposed to famous golfers and lush landscapes outside of the urban cityscape of which our scholars are accustomed. THE FIRST TEE The First Tee (TFT) is an international youth development organization bringing the game of golf and its inherent values to young people. Through after school and in school programs, TFT helps shape the lives of young people from all walks of life by reinforcing values like integrity, respect and perseverance through the game of golf. And it s making a difference. Their programs, backed by proven research, are having a positive impact on participants, their families and their communities.
