December 2009 Welcome to Powell Valley The holiday season is an opportunity for friends and family to get together and celebrate life. Sometimes our lives get so hectic we forget to stop and really appreci ate what and who we have and spend too little time with them. All of us, no matter what holiday we celebrate, should realize that we function in a community and we need each others support, even if we don't always say it. This holiday season take the stress out of shopping and decorating and take the time to celebrate not only your life but the lives of those you love. Even if we don't always take the time to stop and smell the flowers...theirs always time to breath the love in the air. Merry C hristmas Happy Holidays Feliz Navidad a k a m liki a K e Mel Happy Hanukkah Christmas Gift Suggestions: To your enemy, forgiveness. To an opponent, tolerance. To a friend, your heart. To a customer, service. To all, charity. To every child, a good example. To yourself, respect. ~Oren Arnold

Discard damaged sets or repair them before using. *Fasten outdoor lights securely to trees, house, walls or other firm support to protect from wind damage. *Use no more than three standard-size sets of lights per single extension cord. *Turn off all lights on trees and other decorations when you go to bed or leave the house. Lights could short and start a fire. Wishing you a safe and Happy Holiday! DID YOU KNOW: Gone with the Wind premiered December 15, 1939
