All MBCA members, regardless of section affiliation, are more than welcome and encouraged to attend this touring event...regardless of affiliation, you are more than welcome to attend the event. On Saturday (April 20), participating MBCA sections will caravan from their respective cities and link up in Burnet, TX for lunch at the Burnet Feed Store BBQ, which was converted to a restaurant from a defunct feed store. After lunch, we will take a scenic drive to Fredericksburg. Our headquarters will be the very unique Hangar Hotel, which is 2 miles from downtown Fredericksburg. The hotel's exterior looks like a World War II hangar from the 1940s, and the interior boasts a stylish adult environment featuring an aviation theme from this bygone era (sorry, no one under 18 is allowed in the hotel). Dinner will be at the highlyacclaimed Cabernet Grill, where we will enjoy a 3- course meal. After dinner, we will have our social and play yet another of our fun games at the Officer's Club at the Hangar Hotel. The winners get great prizes. On Sunday (April 21), we will start our day with breakfast at the Airport Diner (beside the Hangar Hotel). After breakfast, we will convoy to San Marcos and visit Dick's Classic Garage, which showcases vehicles and memorabilia from the 1930's through the 1950's, considered the Golden Years of American automotive manufacturing and design. After our museum visit, we will have a Mexican lunch at the nearby Tres Hermanas Restaurant and Cantina. Please contact Dj de- Jesus for availability of spots and to be put on waiting list. djdejesus@charter.net

Page 6 VOLUME 1, ISSUE 1 Past events : Member Appreciation Day - January 12 th 2013 On January 12th, thirty lone star members gathered to celebrate with the officers as they got installed for 2013. The officer sponsored event was well attended and the camaraderie was spectacular. The event started at 5:00pm but most of the officers were already there by 4:00 to get the food ready. The feast consisted of mouth watering appetizers, ribs, ham, sweet and sour soup, noodles, teriyaki chicken, potato salad and home made desserts. Attendees brought their own choice of beverage to share with the rest of the group. The officers were very enthused to meet everyone. After dinner, the newly sworn officers held the first meeting of the year making this one of the most attended meetings ever. Everyone surely had a great time and the 2013 officers are truly grateful for everyone s contribution not only in food but I ideas for 2013. Special thanks was mentioned during the meeting to our past president Bryan Harter for his hard work during his office from 2008 2012.
