Mulberry Cove Marina, located at the south end of Ranger Street, along the banks of the beautiful St. Johns River is a place where Sailors can learn to sail, canoe and fish. It offers a wide array of rental equipment including kayaks, canoes, surfboards, stand up paddle boards, fishing kayaks, and Flying Scot sailboats. Powerboats include pontoon boats, Boston Whalers, 14-foot Trackers and Edgewater Center Consoles with fish finders. All you need to rent a powerboat is a Florida Safe Boater card, available free of charge at www.boatus.org. Reservations for powerboats must be made in person with a $25 deposit. Tents, sleeping pads, cots, camp stoves, lanterns, large grills, coolers, turkey fryers, and much more are also available to be rented. The Ship s Store on the waterfront carries bait, ice, snacks, a variety of drinks, fishing licenses, fishing tackle, sunglasses, T-shirts, outdoor recreation knives, basic boat parts and various sundries to meet your boating needs. The store also has unleaded ethanolfree marine gasoline pier-side and a free boat ramp. For the boat owner, slips, moorings and dry storage are available on a daily, monthly and yearly rental basis. At the slips, fresh water and 30/50 power available. Live-aboards are permitted only on a temporary basis. Sailing instruction classes, intramural sailboat races and surfing/stand up paddle board classes are also available March through October. Mulberry Cove Marina also provides many free services to different organizations on and off base such as the Chief s Mess, NJROTC and the Naval Sea Cadets.

ON THE WATER FOR ALL MOTORIZED BOATS: Reservations must be made in person by the operator of the boat with FL Boater Safety Card and $25 deposit. Active Duty may make reservations 60-days in advance, DOD 45-days. Boat must be picked up by 9am day reserved or deposit and boat is forfeited. Vehicles for Off-Base rentals must have 2 inch ball and standard taillight connector. ON-BASE RENTALS Military DOD/NAF Customer pays for fuel upon return of boat. 24-ft. ON THE LAND Waterfront parks and pavilions open daily from 9am to sunset. Reservations are required. Each park rental includes the use of a sports pack for the day of your rental (horseshoes, volleyball, football, soccer ball, etc). Fee for command functions may be waived-call for details. State of the art fishing line and scientifically proven artificial bait and lures will insure that when the fish bite, you keep them on the hook. Mulberry Cove Marina also sells boat fuel, snacks, beverages and beer, marine items, fishing licenses, bait, and outdoor recreation gear. Mulberry Cove Marina s personnel are dedicated to making sure your experience on the water, or at one of our beautiful parks, goes beyond your expectations. All types of boat storage follows priority status ranking: Active Duty, Reserve Military, Retired Military, and DOD employees.

Cross the St. John s River on the Buckman Bridge. Take the first exit after the bridge to Roosevelt Blvd./Route 17. Bear right onto Roosevelt Blvd and follow the signs to the Naval Air Station Yorktown Gate. Enter NAS Jax via the Yorktown Gate and follow Yorktown Road to Ranger Road. Turn right onto Ranger Road and follow it to the end. The marina will be on your left. From the North: Take I-95 South to I-10 West. Follow I-10 West approx. 1 mile and bear left onto Roosevelt Expressway/Route 17 South. Continue onto Roosevelt Blvd./ Route 17 South. Follow the signs to the Naval Air Station - Yorktown Gate. Enter NAS Jax via the Yorktown Gate and follow Yorktown Road to Ranger Road. Turn right onto Ranger Road and follow it to the end. The marina will be on your left.
