Stage 2 Must use 3 openings The local dry good mercantile has been bringing in exotic items from around the world to put on show for short periods of time. You heard that this time whey have golden items from some place called E Aah Gypped. Gold sounds good to you, so late in the night you break in. As you pack your saddle bags in the light of the moon you see movement coming from a large box. Her body was found with eyes and tongue cut out She can sometimes be heard wondering the halls looking for her murderer. If seen, a shrieking scream is the last you hear as your eyes bleed. Stage 4 It is said that the Indian spirits in this area haunt the land. That the local tribe had mingled in evil magic that gave them the power of the beasts. On a foggy night, you are out to pay a visit to the outhouse. You hear the howl of what sounds like a wolf Then in your lantern light, you see the eyes of a beast so large it blots out the sky. Stage 5 Must shoot through all four openings This sure is a strange town you have taken the job of sheriff in. What seemed to be a normal place when you arrived has slowly been changing into an eerie surrounding. The grassy areas have become dust, fewer animals have been around, the river is drying up. Even the color in the buildings seem to be becoming shades of gray. But the locals are acting like everything is normal. Brushy Bill has busted into your office, telling you that a gunfighter is shooting up the streets. Stage 6 Years ago, a branch line ran from Hooten to a port, crossing the river on a swing bridge close to the station. The swing bridge, worked by a wheel on the platform, was kept open for boats, but closed when trains had to cross it. One night the stationmaster had a heart attack while attempting to close the bridge - with the result that a train plunged into the river. Ever since, a phantom train has been heard on the abandoned track. It never arrives anywhere, nor does it start from Hooten, and it is said to kill anyone who looks upon it. You and your buddies like to bring the new cowpokes out here to see who will scare first. But this time, you actually think you hear something coming down the track. Stage 7 Knockers or Tommyknockers, are believed to be goblins or sprites that live in the deep, dark mining tunnels. They are usually considered to be helpful and are said to use knocking to guide miners towards riches or warn them of impending dangers, such as roof collapses or cave-ins. As you head to your mine today, you can see sparkling objects in the shaft. Friend or Foe, you re about to find out. Stage 10 Shotgun as needed Traveling on your way to the town of Hooten, you find it getting late. Here is a nice corn field complete with a scarecrow to spend the night in. As you eat by the fire light, you look up to see that the scarecrow seems to be a little closer. Boy, you must be tired. Later as you get your bed roll ready, that scarecrow is even closer. Grabbing your rifle from its scabbard, you move forward to check it out. Start: at long gun table holding lantern. Hands on your wrists.
