INVITATION MINIGOLF SENIORS NATIONSCUP 03 rd - 04 th June 2006 PROMOTER: European Minigolf Sport Federation (EMF) ORGANIZER: Federation Luxembourgeoise de Golf sur Pistes PLACE OF COMPETITION: Location of course: Petrustal, City of Luxembourg miniaturegolf TEAM COMPETITION: The teams will be divided into two groups of the same amount of players according to the results of SEM 2005 in Hungary as follows: best + fourth ranked nation: team 1 in group A, team 2 of these nations in group B, team 3 of these nations in group A, second + third ranked nation: team 1 in group B, team 2 of these nations in group A and team 3 of these nations in group B. For remaining nations will be done a draw; two teams of the same nation are divided to the two groups. The nation ranking according to the results of the year before is calculated as follows: 1. teamrank male + female each 5 nation points 2. teamrank 3 points, 3. rank 2 points, 4. rank 1 point. Points of male and female of each nation will be added together. Between nations with identical points will be done a lottery. QUALIFICATION ROUNDS: The number of rounds depends on the number of participants; there is a maximum of 6 rounds for the first competition day. At second competition day is mass start / maximum 2 rounds. End of the qualification rounds: Second day at 11 am. SCORING QUALIFICATION ROUNDS INSIDE 2 GROUPS: After each round there are given points to all teams. For each victory a team gets 2 points For each equal score a team gets 1 point For each lost game a team gets 0 point If teams have same number of total points at the end of qualification rounds the better score will decide about the ranking. QUALIFICATION FOR THE FINALS: From each group there will be qualified the first 2 teams for the semifinals, the teams ranked 3 and 4 will continue with the games for rank 5-8. www.europeanminigolfsport.com 2
MODE OF THE FINALS: The finals are played cup-system. Composition of the playing-groups: team 1 player 1 - team 2 player 1 team 2 player 2 - team 1 player 2 team 1 player 3 - team 2 player 3 team 2 player 4 - team 1 player 4 After 18 lanes the row inside each player-group is changed. Winner is the team with the lowest total score. Necessary play off: sudden death at the course played at the end. Per National Federation there are allowed up to 3 teams. The composition of the teams is free. The start of up to 3 single players is allowed, the maximum number of starters per nation is limited to 12. TEAMSIZE: Each team has 4 players, at least one has to be female. Please especially note the regulations for the nationscup of WMF. Each participant must accept the WADA-code and the anti doping guideline of WMF in the actual version.
