It was a day of competition and fun for more than 160 players and guests who graced the event. EARTH HOUR 2010 IS DUE TOMORROW, MARCH 27 FPI members are expected to mark Earth Hour 2010 by turning off the lights tomorrow night from 8:30-9:30 p.m. They and other Filipinos will join one billion people worldwide who are expected to participate in this activity which aims to highlight the need for urgent measures to reduce carbon emissions and forestall the worsening of global warming and its harmful impacts. EARTH DAY 2010 COUNTDOWN In the countdown to the celebration of Earth Day on 22 April 2010, members of the Earth Day Network Philippines have listed the following Green Acts for people to observe in their daily lives not only in the lead-up to Earth Day but at all times. These acts are just part of a more comprehensive list called 101 Ways for a Greener Lifestyle that the network has prepared under the theme of Hamon ng Panahon: Climate Change, 10 Milyong Solusyon, Kilos na! Ngayon na!

Day 8 April 14 Minimize the use of disposable cutleries and plates during parties.
