Here s What s Happened! D9 Horse Show Horse Club The Horse Club represented our county at the District 9 Horse Show on June 24 and 25 where they brought home two first place awards! Congratulations to our horse team for the outstanding job that they did! Club Officer Training Many of the officers from the different 4- H Clubs attended a Multi- County Club Officer Training in Beaumont on July 9. We played games (yes we Tyler even joined in!) and learned all about what it means to be a 4-H club officer! 2014 Chambers County 4-H Banquet The 4-H Banquet took place on August 16 and was a blast! We handed out project pins to active youth, awarded the coveted Gold Star Award to Macie Broussard and the Bronze Star to Mason Broussard, we ate delicious BBQ and played many fun games! If you didn t get a chance to make it to this year s banquet, you missed out! We hope that you make it to next year s! Page 2
