After more than 400 reports of failure and at least one death attributed to malfunction, Kidde has recalled 37.8 million fire extinguishers. The recall covers dozens of models of plastic-handled and push-button "Pindicator" extinguishers, some of which date back decades and may have been recalled before (so they probably found their way into Lemons cars and garages). Read the details of the recall and check the list of recalled products from the Consumer Product Safety Commission, then take appropriate action to make sure your fire bottles are ready to work when you need them to. Remember that it is up to you to make sure your all your safety equipment is compliant and up to date, so check your bottles and get them replaced if they are on the list. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Effective JANUARY 1, 2018 For ET Classes Pro, Super Pro, Sportsman and Top Sportsman, Super Street, Stock and Super Stock and Altereds previous restrictions on the type of Electronic Fuel Injection Systems or what those systems monitor have been removed. MISC INFO / CORRESPONDENCES / NON BUSINESS: Sonoma Raceway - We are saddened to report that our long-time Wednesday Night Drags and bracket drag racing announcer Jim McCombe passed away early this morning. (DEC. 22) He was a cornerstone of the Sonoma Raceway drag racing family and will be terribly missed. Sonoma Raceway - Georgia is retiring! Georgia Seipel (Sonoma Raceway Dragstrip Manager since 1988) announced her retirement at the Wednesday Night Season closer, November 8, 2017 and her last day will be on January 31st, 2018. She will be passing the legacy onto her son Kyle, who is one of the most accomplished Division 7 drag racers today and is also well known for his collaboration in promoting the Spring Fling Million events. Gerhard Luck - My fellow Juggers after being on the sidelines for the past decade, I am looking to jump back into the fray and add another car to the Jugger's racing team car count. I am looking real hard at a 23 T altered with a blown small block. It will most likely be an NE-1 car, running on the 7.60 index. The question I have for my Jugger friends is that the car has a 150 in wheel base rather than the standard 125. Do any of you have any opinions as to the pro's or con's of running a longer wheel base on an altered. You can call or text me with your input @ 760 885-5067. Sandy Mendia - I have a brand new, never assembled roll about engine stand for big or small block Chevy engine. Anyone need one $25 OBO and it s yours! Thank you HAL SANGUNETTI for his FACEBOOK POST See what you are missing if you don t have a Facebook Account.. hmmm!!
