Overall, it is the 22nd time in school history that Utah State has recorded 20 wins in a season. Prior to its current run, the previous school record for consecutive 20-win seasons was three from 1962-64. With its 20 wins this season, Utah State is now just one of eight teams in the nation to win 20 or more games in each of the last eight years along with Duke, Gonzaga, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Syracuse, and Texas. Entering the 2006-07 season Utah State was one of just 14 teams across the nation to win 20 or more games in each of the last seven years, and one of just five schools to win at least 23 games during that time period joining Duke, Gonzaga, Kansas, and Syracuse. Furthermore, Utah State's 76.8 percent winning percentage during the last eight years ranks fifth in the nation behind Duke (.844), Gonzaga (.802), Kansas (.787), and Illinois (.781). As for teams from the state of Utah, the Aggies current run of eight straight 20-win seasons is the most ever by any school from the Beehive State. The University of Utah's longest streak of consecutive 20-win seasons is six from 1995-2000, while BYU's longest streak is also six from 1990-95. MORRILL RECORDS 20TH WIN OF THE SEASON With its 71-65 win at Oral Roberts, Utah State head coach Stew Morrill has now won 20 games 12 times during his career, including each of the last eight seasons at Utah State and in 10 of his last 12 seasons overall.
