2012 Contents Mike Bray and Nathan Keppler Win G-Loomis Tournament at Lake Pomme de Terre Mike and Nathan beat up on us pretty good winning Pomme by 15.17 lbs over the 2nd place team at our first G-Loomis Tournament. They had a total of 20 fish weighing 41.33 lbs, including Mike s 4.43 pound big bass for Saturday. Their weight puts them on the Top Ten Heavy Stringer list (there is no way to calculate a place so they will be added at the bottom with a note stating that three sessions were fished). They weighed in 10 fish each and caught their fish on spinnerbaits, top water and ten inch worms. First place payout was $236. Congratulations Mike and Nathan! The marina has been a long time supporter of. Our other Pomme supporters are: Nemo Bridge Resort nemobridgeresort.com and Lucky s Restaurant & Sports Bar 417-852-1414. We always appreciate their donations and highly recommends these supporters to anyone planning a trip to Pomme de Terre Lake. There was a total of 137 fish brought in but 70 of those were brought in by the teams in the top 5 places along with 121.80 lbs of the 219.80 total pounds. Skies were clear to cloudy with winds averaging 15 mph and temperatures ranging from 60-90 degrees. The water was stained with water temperatures in the mid 70 s. The lake level was up a bit but we all like it when the water is high so... not up as much as we would have liked. www.hawghawlers.com 1988-2012

Tim weighed in nine fish and John weighed in ten. The team caught their fish on crank baits, brush hogs and shakey heads. They brought nineteen bass to the scale for a total weight of 26.16 pounds. Second place payout was $186. Terry and Lori Stanek took third place bringing in 12 bass for a total weight of 19.97 pounds. They were throwing crank baits and brush hogs. Third place payout was $134. Dean Sullivan and Bob Treadway came in fourth place with four fish for Dean and seven for Bob weighing a total of 17.65 pounds. Fourth place payout was $94. In fifth place Scott Hasty and Bryan Slaughter weighed in a total of 16.69 pounds. Scott weighed three fish and Bryan had four, including his 6.00 pound big bass of the weekend. Bryan is already in the lead for Big Bass of the Year with a 6.22 pound Lake of the Ozark bass. Bryan, can you leave some six pounders for someone else in the club? Fifth place paid $64. Big Bass Nathan Keppler Big Bass for Saturday was won by Nathan Keppler. Nathan s bass weighed 4.43 pounds and was caught on a spinner bait. Big Bass pay out was $51.
I N F O Big Bass (continued) Bryan Slaughter won Big Bass on Sunday and for the weekend. Bryan s bass weighed 6.00 pounds and was caught on a watermelon red Senco. Big Bass pay out was $51 and the side pot was $90. Prize Winners Matt Petty and Ken Jones won free tournament certificates. Other prizes awarded were two free night slips from Pomme State Park Marina, a free night stay at Nemo Bridge Resort and a $20 gift card to Lucky s Restaurant and Sport Bar and several G-Loomis Hats and T shirts. NEXT TOURNAMENT When And Where CULPRIT CLASSIC FISHING PRODUCTS - MARK TWAIN Our next tournament is June 23-24 at Mark Twain. We will be taking off fom the Spaulding Ramp. Tournament hours both days are 6:00 am to 12:00 pm. Tournament directors Saturday - Chandler/Chandler, Sunday - Parmentier/Parmentier. Directions To Country Inn Resort, Mark Twain Lake: Take 70 West to exit 210B (Hwy 61) north. Take 61 for 65 miles to 19. Turn Left on 19. Take 19 for 13 miles. Turn right on State Hwy EE. Go about 3 milse and the resort is on the right. Reminders Be sure to get your Mark Twain entry to Dan by Wednesday June 21 to avoid a late entry fee. Don t forget the club barbecue will be Saturday June 23 starting around 5:30 pm at Country Inn Resort. The barbecue is free to all club members fishing the tournament. The club will provide burgers, dogs, buns, and condiments. We would like to ask everyone to bring a side dish. A side dish is optional so if you can t or don t want to bring something that is fine. You will also need to bring your own beverages. We always have a lot of fun so we hope to see you all there. We still need tournament directors for Wappapello, Rend, and Lake of the Ozarks tournaments. Tournament Directors are warded three points for serving (one additional point if serving more than one time). We really appreciate members helping out.
