Registration is $20.00 before October 31, 2018 and will be $25.00 after November 1st. Returning Members: Parents please go online to 4H Connect and RE- ENROLL your child, texas.4honline.com, you will be able to use your debit or credit card to pay for this. Please use your email address and click on I Forgot my Password and enter the email address that you put on last year s 4-H enrollment form and a new password will be sent to you at that email address or you can call the Extension Office to get your password. 979-828-4270. DO NOT- set up a new profile. New Members who have never been a member of Robertson County 4-H can register online at texas.4honline.com. You will need to set up a New Profile and pay by credit/debit card. Please call the office at 979-828-4270 if you have any questions regarding online registration or 4-H enrollment. If your child is running for an officer position or participating at major shows and contest enrollment dues must be paid prior to elections/events. MAJOR SHOW OR CONTEST INFORMATION MAJOR BARROW and GILT -TAG ORDER You must order major barrow & gilt tags and pay for them by MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 17TH The cost of the tags will be $20.00 each. Everyone must pre-order their tags and pay for their tags before we will order them. If you lose a tag, you will be required to pay $20.00 to retag your animal. Order forms found on website: robertson.agrilife.org MAJOR REGISTERED BREEDING HEIFER VALIDATION If you have a Registered Breeding Heifer(s) that you will be showing at the 2019 Spring Major Shows you must order validation forms for those heifers and ANY substitute heifers to validate in October. Order form cost $20.00 each and is DUE to the Extension Office by Monday, September 10th by 5:00p.m. You also will need Original Registration Papers for each heifer and only 1 exhibitor s name on those papers. (NO partnerships allowed). The heifers MUST be branded or tattooed before we will validate them along with the original papers. If you have questions please call the Extension Office at 979-828-4270. MAJOR SHOW LAMB & GOAT VALIDATION Major Lamb & Goat validation will be held on Monday, October 15th & 22nd 4:00pm-7:00pm and Wednesday, October 17th from 4:00pm-6:00pm at the Robertson County Extension Office in Franklin. This is for major show lambs and goats that have pre-ordered major tags. MAJOR SWINE VALIDATION Major Swine Validation will be held on Monday, November 26th from 4:00-7:00p.m. at the Robertson County Extension Office. This is for major swine only, not for county swine. FAIR-ENTRY DEADLINE The deadline for entering the Heart of Texas Fair is Monday, September 10th by 5:00p.m. You can go online and print entries off or give me a call at 979-828-4270. We need your completed entries in our office on or before the deadline date. BRAZOS VALLEY FAIR AND EXPO The Brazos County Fair will be held at the Brazos County Expo in Bryan on October 19th-21st The deadline for entering the Brazos Valley Fair and Expo is Friday, September 28th by midnight ONLINE. You can go to their website for more information. http://www.brazosvalleyfair.com

HOLIDAY CLASSIC AT THE BELTON EXPO The Holiday Classic Prospect show for steers, heifers, pigs, goats & lambs will be held on November 3rd & 4th at the Bell County Expo in Belton. This prospect show will be FREE just like in the past. The show will be run much the same as in the past. Please watch future newsletters for more information. Trey Corn, Allie Herring, Taylor Swonke and Cole Herring our Texas 4-H Livestock Ambassadors will be selling raffle tickets that help support the Holiday Classic. Prizes include portable scales, showbox, and $300.00 gift certificate to Sullivan's Show Supply. We will also have raffle tickets available here at the Extension Office. Raffle tickets cost $1.00 each or 6 tickets for $ 5.00. R.C.F.A COMMERCIAL HEIFER TAG-IN The R.C.F.A. Commercial Heifer tag-in will be on Saturday, October 27th from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00a.m. at the Robertson County Vet Clinic in New Baden. Tags will cost $10.00 per head and if you get any vet work done you will pay the clinic that day. Staging area will be at the New Baden Store. Forms and instructions will be emailed to exhibitors by the end of September. If you are a new exhibitor please send your email address to bscorn5@gmail.com to be added to the list. If you have both commercial heifers and a county steer come closer to 11:00a.m. R.C.F.A COUNTY STEER VALIDATION County Steer tag-in will be held on Saturday, October 27th. If you did not tag-in during the June major show validation, you must attend this tag-in. The validation will run from 11:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. at the Robertson County Vet Clinic in New Baden. If you have both commercial heifers and a county steer come closer to 11:00a.m. Tags will cost $10.00 per head and if you get any vet work done you will pay the clinic that day.

R.C.F.A SHEEP & GOAT COUNTY TAG-IN Attention county Sheep and Goat exhibitors the Validation (tagin) has been moved to October now. This means you must own and have your sheep/goat in possession before tag-in. Sheep and Goat Validation Dates: (you can come to either date) Monday, October 15th & 22nd 4:00-7:00p.m. at the Robertson County Extension Office. Wednesday, October 17th 4:00p.m.-6:00p.m. at the Robertson County Extension Office. You must tag-in your sheep/goats at these dates to show at the Robertson County Fair in March 2019. BOOGER COUNTY STEER AND HEIFER CLINIC Saturday, September 29th from 8:00am to 1:00pm at the Robertson County Fairgrounds in Hearne. Can bring cattle in Friday night after 5:00pm. LIVESTOCK, HORSE, and WOOL/MOHAIR JUDGING If you are interested in Judging this year, 2018-2019, please call the Extension Office at 979-828-4270 and let us know. BEEF, SWINE, SHEEP & HORSE SKILLATHON If you are interested in competing at the San Antonio Livestock Show in the Beef, Swine, Sheep & Horse Skillathon for a chance to win a $10,000.00 scholarship. Please call the Extension Office @ 979-828-4270. AG PRODUCT I.D. TEAM The Robertson County 4-H is starting a new team to compete at the Ag Product I.D. contest.
