Declaration of member s interests at meeting Councillor Hooker declared an interest in Item 16 (cheque 2499) and indicated that he would remain in the meeting, but not participate in any discussions or vote. 3267. Public Speaking PCSO Bennett explained that she was on restricted duties and mobile police surgeries had been cancelled for at least 6 months. The mobile police station has also been removed from Belper. Her new role is to start up community speed watch groups in parish areas. Anyone who would like to become a speed watch volunteer should contact PCSO Bennett. Cllr Taylor gave an update and confirmed that the Yew Tree Inn planning application was going to the planning board in February. It was also confirmed that an Improvement and Scrutiny Health meeting was scheduled for 2pm on 21/1/19 regarding cuts to voluntary sector funding in Derbyshire. So far, the cuts have been reduced from 1.2 million to 500,000. 3268.
