Updates from Variety s Programs ur school year programs are in full swing! Find out what we have been up to below. ur Vocational Club students were inspired by fall as they baked apple crisp for their Treat of the Month. They have also started making holiday decorations to sell at their Holiday Bazaar in December. The Socialization Club has enjoyed each other s company by playing board games and going on nature walks around campus while sharing their Halloween plans! ur students are learning about the different geographic and cultural regions of Africa by creating traditional African art and listening to folk stories. At the end of each Arts session, we have a dance party with our friends from Look Who s Dancing! Finally, our campers joined us for the Weekend Retreat during the Trail Run and Fall Fest. ur campers cheered the runners on as they began the 4-mile run around campus. Later, the campers decorated their cabins for sensory friendly trick or treating and finished off the night with a bonfire! Check our social media pages to see our costumes and cabins and leave a comment telling us which costumes and cabins you like. Don t forget about Variety Works! We are looking for Community Partners in any industry to work with our talented Variety Works members. If you or someone you know would like to join Variety Works, contact Heather Rothman at heather.rothman@varietyphila. org.
