FIRST-AID MEASURES ROUTE COMMON SYMPTOMS FIRST AID Inhalation Ingestion Skin Eyes Exposure to vapors may cause irritation to the nose, throat, and respiratory tract. Headache and drowsiness may occur. Irritation Remove source of contamination or move victim to fresh air. If affected person is not breathing, apply artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical attention. Do NOT induce vomiting unless directed to so by medical personnel. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Give milk then give a starch solution made by mixing of two tablespoonsful of cornstarch or flour to a pint of water. Get medical attention immediately. If irritation occurs, wash with disinfectant soap and water. Get medical attention. Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention. 5. FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES Flash Point: 68 F (TCC) - CLOSED CUP Auto Ignition: Lowest known: 399 C (750 F) (For IPA 99%) Use methods appropriate for the surrounding fire. Consider Extinguishing Media: water spray or fog, carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder, or alcohol resistant foam. Products of Combustion: Fire Fighting Equipment and Procedures: Upon combustion this product, it may emit toxic gases including: carbon oxides, sodium oxides, iodine, and hydrogen iodide etc. Wear protective clothing and equipment suitable for the surrounding fire, including helmet, facemask, and selfcontained breathing apparatus. LARGE FIRE: Use alcohol foam, water spray or fog. Cool containing vessels with water get in order to prevent pressure build-up, autoignition or explosion.
