Page 6 FRY NEWS 5th Grade T.A.B. TAB (Teaching Artistic Behavior) is a new innovative approach to art education. Research suggests it helps students develop problem-solving skills and increase critical thinking. It incorporates choice because students choose their subject matter and medium of artistic expression. Students are encouraged to use the skill they learned through instruction to develop their own style of art and have to work (sketch, develop and clean up) like an artist. Students complete this project by filling out an artists statement and displaying their work. Would you like to see more of the wonderful art projects Fry Students have created?
