CRICKET RULES 1. The objective of winning this game is to close all of the specified cricket numbers on the board AND to have the highest point score. The first player or team to do this will be the winner. a) Cricket can be won by closing all the numbers and either being ahead or tied in points. b) If both players or teams have zero (0) points OR equal points, then the first player or team to close all of the specified cricket numbers will be the winner. 2. The specific numbers used are 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15 and the Bulls-Eye. 3. The order of who shoots first is determined by the closest dart to the center with one dart (the diddle ). The player from the visiting team will throw first to begin the diddle. Re-shoot darts that bounce out. 4. Each player or team will take turns throwing 3 darts per turn to close numbers and score points. 5. Closing a number involves scoring that number three times (i.e. 3 single scores, 1 single and 1 double score, or 1 treble score of that number). a) If a player hits the double ring of one of the specific cricket numbers, it will have the same value as two (2) single scores of that number. b) If a player hits the treble ring of one of the specific cricket numbers, it will have the same value as three (3) single scores of that number. c) The first player/team to score a number three times will close and own that number which now means that each time the first player/team hits that closed number, they can add that number to their total point score until the other player/team closes that number. d) When the other player or team also closes a number that number is completely closed and no further points can be scored on that number. e) The bull s eye consists of an outer bull (single bull score) and an inner bull (double bull) with a single bull equal to 25 points and a double bull equal to 50 points. 6. The numbers can be closed in any order that the players choose and calling your shot is not required. 7. Consecutive trebles are when a player hits three trebles in one turn (three darts) during a cricket game. Also when the player hits any combination of trebles and double bulls it will count as consecutive trebles. 8. It is the responsibility of the player to verify that the correct score is marked before removing his/her darts from the board. The score marked will remain as written and no alterations in the scores will be allowed after one or more darts have been removed from the dartboard. Updated: 12 Oct 2018 Page 5 of 6

301 & 501 RULES 1. The objective of these games is to score as many points as possible with each dart thrown to count-down from 301 or 501 points, and the last dart thrown to win the game MUST be a double-out which is equal to the number of points that player / team has left to finish the game. On the dartboard, the outer ring for all numbers and the inside bulls-eye score double the points of that number and are used for the double-out. The only difference between 301 and 501 in this League is when you start counting-down: a) 501 = straight-in / double-out: you start counting-down from 501 points with the first dart thrown (called straight-in ) and finish the game with your last dart hitting a double-out equal to the number of points left to finish the game. b) 301 = double-in / double-out: you start counting-down from 301 points only after a dart hits a double of any number on the board (called a double-in ), and finish the game with your last dart hitting a double-out equal to the number of points left to finish the game. The number of points scored during a double-in includes the points from the dart that hit the double in and all darts afterwards. c) Refer to various dart finish listings which show possible ways to finish the game with a certain number of points and darts left. i. For example, if you have 40 points left, one option is to hit the double 20 to win the game, ii. iii. If you miss the double 20 but hit a single 20, and you still have darts left to throw, you now have 20 points left to double-out and you might choose to hit a double 10 to win the game If your dart misses the double-out needed but scores the same or more points than the number of points needed to double-out, this is a bust which means that you stop shooting and wait till your next turn. No points are scored in a bust and you start your next turn with your previous score. 2. Use 2 columns per player / team when marking the score down. The left-hand column for each player / team shows the total points scored each turn, while the right-hand column shows the points left to finish the game, including the winning double-out points.
