HOW TO GET TO THE EXPO AND TO THE STARTING AREA BY CAR: Exit VERONA SUD and follow the signs for the city center Piazza Bra is located about 2 km from the highway To park your car the suggested parking spaces are positioned in the areas nearby Piazza Bra (main square): Arena, Cittadella, Centro, Tribunale, Città di Nimes and PortaPalio. BY BUS: Exit VERONA SUD and follow the signs for the city center Piazza Bra is located about 2 km from the highway To park you may need to use the new Bus parking Centro, which is located 800 mt away from the start area.

RACE NUMBERS PICK UP AT EXPO VERONAMARATHON PIAZZA BRA Friday November 13th, 2015 from 15.00 to 20.00 Saturday, November 14th, 2015 from 10.00 to 20.00 Sunday, November 15th, 2015 from 06.00 to 08.30 THE BIB PICK UP PROCEDURE: Show up at the pick up area with the confirmation letter. The confirmation letter has been sent by email. You can also download it directly from www.veronamarathon.it under registration verification.
RACE NUMBERS PICK UP if the confirmation letter presents the note NOT CORRECT ENTRY, you NEED to show up in advance to the Secretariat to regularize your registration in order to proceed and regularly pick up your bib if you arrive without a confirmation letter you can check the number of your bib in the list of participants posted at the entrance of the Secretariat and then you can require the copy of the confirmation letter to proceed tothe bib pick up area.
RACE NUMBERS PICK UP RESIDENTS IN THE PROVINCE OF VERONA SHOULD PICK UP THEIR BIB ONLY ON: Friday November 13th / Saturday, November 14th, 2015. WE DO NOT ACCEPT REGULARIZATION OF REGISTRATIONS ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 15TH, 2015. THE DELIVERY OF MISSING DOCUMENTS IS ALLOWED BY FAX OR MAIL TILL THURSDAY NOVEMBER 12th OR they can be HANDED OVER TO THE SECRETARIAT of THE EXPO VERONAMARATHON on FRIDAY 13th or on Saturday, November 14th ATHLETES WITHOUT REGUALAR REGISTRATION WILL NOT RECEIVE THE BIB.
BIB The bib is personal and it is forbidden to sell it or trade it with other people. It must be placed in a clearly visible position on the front of the torso. Writing may not be concealed the and both the race number and trademarks and logos of the sponsors must be clearly legible at DISQUALIFICATION PENALTY.
MARATHON STARTING AREA Near the STARTING AREA (Palazzo della Gran Guardia) the storage trucks will be positioned. There you can drop your clothing bag (NOTE: only the bags provided by the organizing committee are accepted) for the deposit. Remember to APPLY to your bag in a CLEAR AND VISIBLE WAY your race number: you will find it inside the race envelope. It is highly suggested to write your phone number on it in case of any emergency. Storage trucks remain in the same position till the end of the race.
MARATHON FINISH AREA The arrival of the Verona Marathon is located at few meters from the entrance of ExpoVeronamarathon. At the finish line, after the collection of FINISHER commemorative medal and return the timing chip you will find a dedicated refreshment desk and then the truck with the clothing bags. GOODY BAG The goody bag includes among other things the official t-shirt of the event and it will be delivered simultaneously when you pick up the bib.
ENTRANCE TO THE GRIDS Four starting grids according to the time stated goal. Below the timing of crediting to access the grids: GRID - Color White Up to 1:29:59 GRID - Color Blue From 1:30:00 to 1:52:30 GRID - Color Pink From 1:52:31 to 2:15:00 GRID - Color Grey Above 2:15:00 The entrance to the grids is authorized according to the colour of the bib and NOT the number of race. Access to the grids are open from 08.15. To access the Start Area follow the marked route, about 200 meters from the storage trucks.
TIMING The electronic timing isprovided by TDS Live. The chip is placed on the back of the bib and must not removed for any reason, in fault it will be excluded from the classification. It must be given back to the organizing committee just after the finish line before leaving the arrival area in Piazza Bra.
The route is marked by direction and mileage indicators. The timekeeping points are located at the: - km 4 - km 9 - km 12 - km 21.097 RACE COURSE The organizing committee reserves the right to make further controls on the course to ensure the regularity of the event.

REFRESHMENTS STATIONS What you will find in the refreshment stations: THE REFRESHMENT OF KM 5,5 / 9,6 / 15,0 water Tea THE REFRESHMENT OF KM 19,6 water tea energy supplement fruit and cookies Toilets will be available at each refreshment station.
Bowls of water with sponges will be available at: - Km 7.5 - Km 12.5 - Km 17.5 SPONGES AREAS You ll find the water tanks and related sponge.
PACER, THEY ARE YOUR RACE ANGELS The service is offered in order to assist you if you want a reference point to reach your personal best. Guaranteed times: 1.30.00 1.35.00 1.40.00 1.45.00 1.50.00 2.00.00 2.15.00 2.30.00
A fixed Retired athletes service is available at Km: - 10-14 SAG WAGONAND TIME LIMIT It will be guaranteed also a sag wagon following the race in order to meet the traffic suspention time limit of 3 hours.
HEALTH SERVICE ON THE ROUTE Along the way, and at the refreshment there will be emergency stations of the Croce Verde. Additionally there will also be mobile units (bicycles) in case of needed rapid intervention for emergencies. MASSAGE AREA / CHANGING ROOM A free massage service inside Palazzo della Gran Guardia in front of the finish line will be available. The space is also used as a changing room.
SHOWERS AREA AND SHUTTLE SERVICE The showers service is available in the changing rooms of the Sport Center CAMPO CONI A. Consolini at this address Via Ascari, 5 located about 2 km from the finish area. A dedicated free shuttle service will operate starting from CorsoPorta- Nuova (in front of San Luca Church) from 10.30 until 16.00. The shuttle will leave from CorsoPortaNuovaand the area will be signalled by an inflatable buoy indicating CAMPO CONI / DOCCE.
RESULTS The finisher list will be posted in preview in the nearby of the changing area (Palazzo della Gran Guardia) and later it will be available also on the website www.veronamarathon.it. All finishers can download their certificate of participation from the site www.veronamarathon.it starting from Monday November 16th, 2015.
